Our second game of the season see us travel over the bridge to Grangemouth, to face last seasons champions Westfield Colts at Little Kerse on Saturday at 2pm.

We look to add from our victory on Saturday against Tullibody, while Westfield are looking to bounce back after a defeat to Dollar, so it’s sure to be a cracking game.

⭐️ Management Team ⭐️

We have a great management team at the club with a wealth of experience. We are glad to keep Tam at the club and we are delighted to added in Kevin Cook as his assistant. They have been working hard with the team during preseason and their efforts were rewarded today with an impressive opening victory at home.

⚽️⚽️ Kincardine 7 - 1 Tullibody ⚽️⚽️

We kicked off our league campaign with an emphatic victory at home today.

We started the game brightly and were on top from the first whistle. Our first goal came on the 10th minute when a Jozef MacIntosh cross hit off the defenders raised arm. Dale Allan stepped up and slotted it past the keeper to score his first league goal for the club. Our lead however was cut short when the opposition attacker was brought down in the box on the 14th minute, which they scored from the spot. The away team nearly took the lead when their winger cut in from the left hand side, and only a good save from Sean Murphy kept it at 1-1. We then doubled our lead on the 25th minute when a great ball over the top from Allan released MacIntosh down the right and he cut it back for Reece Strathearn to slot it into the bottom corner, another league debut goal. We then went 3-1 up when MacIntosh knocked in his own rebound 5 minutes later. HT 3-1, half time substitution, Ross Kyle on for Murphy.

Onto the second half and as we had done in the first we took full control and made it 4-1 on 49th minute as another penalty was awarded for a challenge on Allan in the box, Allan stepped up to double his tally for the day. Arron Carson was then introduced for Strathearn on 58th Minute. The 5th came on the 63rd Minute when a good ball was played to Gareth Thomas on the edge of the area, one touch and then rifled into the top corner. 64th minute Connor Armstrong on Ryan Millar. 2 Trialist on for MacIntosh and Allan. On the 75th Minute Ally McCallum slotted away another penalty that was awarded for another handball. We finished off the scoring on the 86th Minute when Thomas scored straight from the corner sneaking in at the back post.

Good result to get us going for the season, next Saturday we face Westfield Colts at Little Kerse.

We finished our preseason fixtures with a good win against last seasons East Of Scotland Cup semi finalists, another good workout for the lads and should some real spirit to win the game after being 3-1 down.

Kincardine Football Club are running a Last man standing competition to raise funds towards the running of the club.For only £10 you could win a decent amount of prize money. The more people take part the more you can win so make sure to get as many involved as possible £10 cash or £10 into the bank account secures you into the first week.

THE RULES PLEASE READ …..

1.Select the winner of one Premier league match each week. Games that are eligible are those played in the English Premier league over Saturday-Friday of the game week. If your selection wins you progress to the following game week if you lose or draw you are out.

2.You cannot select the same team to win more than once during the competition, Unless the competition progresses past the 19 game weeks.

3. Each week email your selection to gazzah01@hotmail.com or text it to 07516635289 Selections must be received by kick off on the first game of the game week title your message KFC LAST MAN, include your name and selection. Once you have selected you can’t change it.

4.Should you fail to select a team or pick a team you have previously selected you will be assigned the first team that you haven’t selected in alphabetical order. This rule applies in the event of a communications error e.g. phone or IT error.After this happens twice you will be eliminated.

5.In the event of Postponement or cancellation before any fixtures have started ik that week you will be asked to pick again from an available fixture on the same game week if not you will continue to the next game week however your team selection will no longer be available unless the competion progresses by the 19 game week or unless it’s the final week were that week will pause and go again the week after the game can’t be won on a postponement .

6.In the unlikely event that all remaining contestants fail to select a winning team the prize pot will roll over to the next competition which will be started the following set of fixtures

7. Closing date for entries is Sat 17th Feb 2024


8. The administrator decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9 The entry fee is £10. The prize pot will be 50% of all collected entry fees the remaining 50% will be donated to Kincardine Amateur Football Club

10 No entry will be accepted without the payment of the entry fee the details for you to send the payment are below simply send your money and then text or email your selection or alternately give your cash and selection along with your email or mobile number to any player to hand in .

11 In the event there is still entries left at the end of the season they will continue again on week one of the season and can select any promoted teams as new teams but not any previous selections from season before.
