Resident Rita shared some lovely words, saying Annie will make a fantastic nurse and that she found her to be so attentive and compassionate throughout her time with us ❤️

What a fun-filled morning we had at our weekly Prize Bingo session! Smiles, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition made for a brilliant time together 💬💕

🎉 Avis was thrilled to win the line and chose a classic packet of bourbon creams 🍪
🏆 Rita took home the house prize - a 10-pack of assorted biscuits - and generously shared them with everyone in attendance 🥰

To top it all off, our lovely Administrator Edna popped in and led a heart-warming singalong of “You Are My Sunshine” 🎶🌞 - the perfect way to end a joyful session!

💚 A Day to Remember at Parklands Care Home! 💚

We had a fantastic time at Parklands Care Home in Alloa, celebrating a special occasion — presenting a £5,000 donation to Parkinson’s UK! 🎉

The day was full of fun, food, music and community spirit, bringing together residents, families, colleagues and representatives from Parkinson’s UK 🙌

It was even more meaningful to have our residents, Jack and Margaret, with us. Both have a long history of supporting Parkinson’s UK locally, so seeing them part of this celebration made it extra special. 🌟

This donation will help Parkinson’s UK continue their incredible work supporting more than 13,000 people living with Parkinson’s across Scotland. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in — this was care, community and celebration at its best! 💐

From puzzles and painting to board games and brain teasers - our residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of tabletop activities, choosing their favourites and getting stuck in! 😄🖌️🧠

These sessions are all about creativity, connection, and having fun at your own pace.

Whether working solo or sharing a game with friends, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🙌

🐾 A Special Visit from Rhia at Parklands Care Home! 🐶💛

There’s nothing quite like the joy a furry friend brings — and Rhia, our beautiful cocker spaniel visitor, certainly knows how to brighten everyone’s day! 🌟

Resident Anne asks our colleague Corri every single day “Where is the woof?” - so when Rhia arrives, it truly makes her day! Having owned golden cocker spaniels all her life, Anne shares a special bond with Rhia, making these visits even more meaningful 🥰🐕

It’s heart-warming to hear comments like “It’s nice to have a dog back in the house again - I miss mine.” Rhia laps up all the cuddles, treats, and attention, and loves showing off her tricks too! 🎩🐾

Thank you to our colleagues and to Rhia for bringing so much happiness and comfort to our home 💫
