Sound familiar?

This was definitely me in the past! I never rested at all. If I wasn't at work, I'd be out and about, doing stuff with kids, keeping my house immaculate, at the gym etc.

In my head it was 'lazy' to rest and not be busy all the time. Also, I didn't know how to rest and would quickly get bored or have ants in my pants 🙈

I had no idea I was just avoiding dealing with the stuff in my head that needed healing!

It's absolutely critical to have rest for physical, mental and emotional healing and recharging to happen.

If this is you, that can't sit at peace and always need to be on the go, consider what you're avoiding dealing with. You can't avoid it forever - like a volcano it will bubble away rising until one day it erupts.

There are plenty tools you can use to do it and you don't have to do it alone. Talk to a friend or family member or speak to a coach or counsellor. You'll feel better in the long run for acknowledging and dealing with it!

You got this! ❤️

Did you know a lot of official guidance on food is funded by food companies/manufacturers? For example, Kelloggs funded the research that concluded 'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day'! Wow impartial findings there then 😮

For example, dairy - we've been told for decades that we need to have it to get calcium for our bones right? It turns out, not so much!

Some large scale studies have been conducted with some astounding results:

😱One Harvard study followed 72,000 women for 20 years and found no evidence that drinking milk can prevent bone fractures or osteoporosis.
😱A study of 1,893 women diagnosed with early-stage invasive breast cancer revealed that eating more high-fat dairy products was linked to higher mortality (death) rates.

Scientists believe that 60-70% people are actually allergic to dairy but they may not realise (as may not have anaphylactic response). It's meant for baby cows not humans! It can cause inflammation, joint pain (incl RA), bloating, stomach upsets, IBS, eczema, acne, migraines, sinus issues and much more.

It's possible some of you may have health issues without correlating that you are allergic to dairy or something else in your diet.

I had a lifetime of sinus issues and was frequently getting scans, steroids, antibiotics, drops etc but no root cause ever found. I couldn't even breathe through my nose at all. One day I noticed my sinuses felt like someone had stuffed cotton wool up my nose about 15 mins after I ate porridge. A week later same thing happened after I drank milk. I decided to try elimination and was able to breathe through my nose within a week. My consultant denied the link even though tons of research out there. It's been over 8 yrs now since I gave up dairy and I've never needed antibiotics or steroids since🙌🏻

Doctors don't/can't know everything and usually only have time to treat symptoms not find root cause. If you have health issues, look at what you are eating/drinking and see if it could be caused by that. It could be dairy or something else! Pay attention to how you feel after you consume foods/drinks. It might just change your life 🙏🏻

Today is National Relaxation Day - a day to bring focus on the importance of relaxing and taking care of ourselves.

We all live lives that are busy (some busier than they should be) - juggling work, family life, exercising, running a home, finding time for friends etc. It can be overwhelming and lead to burnout. We think of relaxation time as lazy or wasted time or time we don't have.

However, if we don't take regular time to relax then our stress hormones will start to affect our health. Not just our physical health but also our mental and emotional health.

We often think we're relaxing when we're watching TV in the evening. However our brains are still having to process a lot of information from the TV. And also our brains can't tell the difference between real threat and perceived threats. So if you like to watch hard hitting dramas etc it can induce a stress response in your body. And never mind that half the time we have one eye on the TV and the other on our phones, or we're thinking about everything we have to do tomorrow 🙈

There's lot of things we can do to relax - a soak in the bath or warm shower, reading a relaxing book (again choose your reading carefully and avoid anything that may induce stress hormones), walking in nature, having a warm drink and just sitting at peace.

I love to read and usually have a couple of books on the go at anytime so I can suit my mood. I also love to walk in nature - I often do a walking meditation where I try to quieten my thoughts and use my senses to focus on what I can see, hear etc. Nature has a huge soothing effect on my mind, body and soul 🦋🌲🐝🦆

Can you all hear that collective sigh of relief today as our local schools have gone back 🤣🤣

Well done to all the parents/carers who made it through the school holidays. It can be a difficult few weeks juggling childcare, keeping kids entertained and then trying to get all their back to school clothes and stuff (which was always a nightmare with my fussy girls when they were little 🥴).

Take some time for just you to recharge, even for 5 minutes. Or why not book in for a treatment to have an hour of complete bliss that's all about you!

For those in different areas whose kids are still off - hang in there, it won't be long now.

Good afternoon from Elie beach 🌊🐚🏖️☀️

On Sunday I went to Edinburgh (my first time travelling in on the tram 💗) and had a fab day visiting Leith then a wander round the city watching the Fringe street performers. But it was extremely peopley and I felt the effects of that yesterday.

So today I've come to the beach to ground and reset myself before work tomorrow, so I can give my best to my lovely clients 💖

I absolutely love being by the sea - the water, sand, the smell of the salty air, the amazing energy ✨💫. I always feel at home on the coast, like it's my soul's home 🙏🏻💗 I definitely belong here.

What's your happy place - the coast, forest, city or somewhere else? Let me know in comments below ⬇️

🌙 Unclog Your Lymph for Better Sleep 😴💧

If you’ve been tossing, turning, or waking up feeling like you’ve been hit by a bus — your lymphatic system might be the quiet culprit.

Your lymph works hard while you sleep, acting like your body’s night-shift cleaning crew. Its job? To clear away waste, balance fluids, and keep your immune system happy. But when your lymph is sluggish, it’s like trying to clean a house with a clogged vacuum… things just don’t get done.

How Lymph Congestion Steals Your Sleep

Many signs of lymph stagnation show up in the neck and shoulder area. This is because your body’s main lymph exits — the thoracic ducts — sit high in your chest, near your collarbones and spine. When these ducts are backed up:
• You might feel pressure, stiffness, or pain in your neck and shoulders.
• Hands or arms may tingle or “fall asleep” during the night.
• You could wake with a stiff neck or headaches starting at the back of the head.

The Brain-Lymph Connection 🧠💬

Your lymph system communicates directly with your brainstem. When lymph is congested, immune cells send out “alarm signals” that can activate your brain’s “stay awake” mode — making it harder to fall asleep or stay asleep.

This also affects your glymphatic system (the brain’s waste-removal network), meaning your brain doesn’t get its nightly detox. You wake up foggy, heavy, and achy.

Why It Gets Worse

Lymph congestion can be triggered by:
🚫 Stagnation – too little movement or exercise
🍔 Late or heavy meals – especially fatty foods before bed
💥 Overload – from stress, illness, injury, or even an emotionally draining day

The Morning After a Clogged Night

If your lymph couldn’t keep up overnight, your body tries other waste-removal routes:
• Acne or breakouts on shoulders, chest, or face
• Morning phlegm or mucus cough
• Puffy eyes or face
• Achy, stiff joints that ease as you move around

Better Nights, Better Mornings 🌿

To keep your lymph flowing for better sleep:
• Do gentle movement in the evening (stretching, walking, or deep breathing)
• Avoid heavy meals within 2–3 hours of bed
• Stay hydrated during the day
• Try simple lymphatic self-care like neck stretches, dry brushing, or gentle MLD techniques

💡 Remember: Your lymph is a pressure system — and when it’s free-flowing, your body can rest, repair, and wake up refreshed. Give your lymph a little help, and it will give you better sleep in return.

Anyone else feeling the intense full moon energy?

I've been having wild dreams the last couple of nights and feeling kinda tired but wired at same time 😴🤪🥴🤣

I don't often do moon rituals but I'm feeling guided to do it tonight. A nice chilled night with some cleansing with sage, meditation, journalling, oracle cards etc. A proper rock n roll Saturday night for me of cleansing and releasing what no longer serves 🙏🏻🫶 Love it 💕🔮

Remember pop your crystals out to charge. And you can pop a bottle of water out too to make moon water 🌕

Do you have any rituals you like to follow?
