At Arlington Grove, friendships often grow in the most natural and wonderful way😊. Many of our Residents meet new friends here and quickly build special connections.

On this lovely afternoon, our Residents enjoyed a relaxed ride on our golf buggy through the garden, chatting, laughing and spending time together, just like a girls’ day out.🌸🚗💚

🐴Donkey Therapy Moment at Arbour Walk ✨

Animal therapy is something our Residents always look forward to, and this visit was no exception. 🧓🏻🍂

We welcomed a very cute special visitor named Romeo🐴 to Arbour Walk, and the moment he stepped inside the home the smiles began. He enjoyed plenty of gentle strokes from our lovely Residents and team, and he was an absolute delight throughout his visit. 💛

We are truly grateful to Romeo and Kelly's Donkeys for bringing him to visit us. It was one of those happy moments at Arbour Walk that we will remember. 🪷✨

We are delighted to share a lovely moment from our entertainment session at Arbour Walk and the day was filled with togetherness, warm memories, and smiles across the home. Our cheerful singer, Naomi👩🏻, brought so much joy to our Residents and their families, and everyone joined in singing along. 🤗✨

🐶Pet Therapy Visit at Arbour Walk🐾

We had a lovely visit at Arbour Walk from Ola, our very gentle giant, who brought plenty of smiles to the home😊. There were lots of cuddles, ear scratches and happy moments of connection, which our Residents really enjoyed.

Pet therapy visits always bring something special to the day, and it
was heart-warming to see the joy Ola brought to everyone💚

🐾An Interactive Animal Experience at Arlington Grove🐾

We regularly welcome a variety of animals to Arlington Grove, but this time, our special guests called for just a little extra bravery 😊

Zoo Lab visited us with some fascinating creatures that many people are curious about, but may not often have the chance to see up close. These included giant African land snails🐌, stick insects🦗and snakes🐍. Alongside the lively and informative talk, our residents also had the opportunity to gently handle the animals and learn more about them.

The joy of learning and experiencing something new does not fade with age. Just look at the smiles on their faces 💚✨

💝Christmas Moments at Woodside🎄

As we look back on our Christmas celebrations, we wanted to share a few heart-warming moments from Christmas at Woodside. 💌As part of our Christmas card exchange, our lovely Resident Beryl was delighted to open her Christmas card from a pupil at St Edward’s School, and that brought such a bright smile to her face. 🏫👩🏻‍🦳

We also spent a festive afternoon at The Crown Inn in Salford, where Maureen and Eric enjoyed a cozy Christmas lunch. 🥗 The warmth setting, delicious food, and time together made it such a lovely outing for everyone. 🍷❄️

These simple, heartfelt moments made the season feel so special for our Residents and team. 💚✨

🎁Christmas Day at Waltham House🎄

As we welcome the New Year, we’ve been looking back on the lovely moments we shared on Christmas Day at Waltham House. 🎅🏻🎶

A delicious buffet, good company, and a lively musical performance all added to the Christmas spirit and made the home feel truly special. Our Residents wore their favourite Christmas jumpers and gathered in the beautifully decorated dining room for a festive lunch. 🍰☕

Our Wellbeing Coordinator, Priscilla, also stepped in as Santa, handed out thoughtful gifts from our company, and which were received with so much joy. It was another special day at Waltham House, and we wish everyone a bright and happy year ahead. 🤗💝

🪻A Special Milestone at Bluebell Villa, Chester🪻

This week marked a very special moment for Cedar Care Homes, as we officially opened Bluebell Villa, our new wing at Grosvenor Villas in Chester💚. We were also pleased to welcome the Chester Standard to share this milestone with us and help tell the story of Bluebell Villa’s opening 📰✨.

It was a proud and emotional day to finally welcome our first Resident, Joyce Kaye, and see her cut the ribbon alongside Minal and Arjun Desai ✂️😊. It was a simple moment, but one that truly brought Bluebell Villa to life.

Bluebell Villa has been carefully designed to support people living with the early stages of dementia, with familiar interiors, calm spaces and thoughtful details throughout 🏡. From the 1960s-inspired sitting area to the cinema room 🎬, courtyard 🌿, family room and on-site physiotherapy 💪, every space has been created to help Residents feel comfortable, engaged and at home.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in bringing this vision to life, and we look forward to the many moments, memories and relationships that will grow here in the years ahead 🌷💚.

🎄Christmas Wonderland at Arlington Grove🎄

The warmth of Christmas is often best captured through photographs📸, with each smile reflecting a moment shared during the festive season😊.

Arlington Grove was delighted to celebrate Christmas with everyone for the first time. With gentle harp music in the background, guests enjoyed a seasonal buffet🍽️, a bauble making workshop🎨, the Elf Trail🧝and a special visit from Father Christmas🎅.

Every smile was a wonderful encouragement to us💚.

🎅🏻Christmas Market Day at Grosvenor Villas🎁

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go, and Grosvenor Villas was no exception.🎄✨

We are delighted to share a Winter Wonderland moment at our Christmas market. Carol singing and the wind band flute choir filled the air with festive cheer, and our Residents enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Stalls and sparkling decorations made the Grosvenor Villas feel welcoming, and mulled wine with mince pies sweetened the day perfectly. 🍷🥧🎶

We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make this Christmas market so special. 🤗💚
