🥞💛 Pancake Day at Redwoods! 💛🥞

Residents and colleagues came together to enjoy a lovely Pancake Day celebration here at Redwoods Care Home! ✨

Fresh pancakes were made on the griddle, filling the home with the most delicious smell. Everyone enjoyed choosing their own toppings — a fun and tasty way to personalise their treat! 🍓🍯🍫

The atmosphere was wonderfully warm and sociable, with residents and colleagues sitting together, chatting, laughing and sharing conversations throughout the activity 💕

A simple celebration that brought lots of smiles and lovely moments 💛🌼

💛🧘‍♀️ A Calming Afternoon at Redwoods 🧘‍♀️💛

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful yoga and relaxation session, creating a peaceful and positive atmosphere throughout the home. With gentle stretches, mindful breathing and a soothing meditation to finish, it was the perfect way to unwind and restore calm

We were also delighted to introduce our brand‑new Dancesing TV resources!

The room was soon filled with smiles as residents explored music, movement and light‑hearted activity together. It’s amazing to see how these sessions bring joy, energy and connection to everyone involved

A truly lovely afternoon of wellbeing, supported by our fantastic colleagues who help make moments like this so special 💛

💖 Valentine’s Party in the Home 💖

We had such a beautiful Valentine’s celebration here in the home! 🌹
A very special thank you to Margo Fraser, who was absolutely fantastic as always 🎶❤️. She has such a special way of connecting with everyone, and it was lovely to see our residents smiling, singing along, and really enjoying every song.
We are so grateful for the happiness she brings each time she visits. 🌟

With delicious food and drinks enjoyed by all, it was a day full of love, laughter, and wonderful memories. 💕🥂

📺💙 Exciting News at Redwoods! 💙📺

We are delighted to share that we’ve recently purchased a brand‑new interactive TV for our residents! This fantastic addition will bring even more entertainment, stimulation and opportunities for fun, engagement and meaningful activities

From quizzes and virtual experiences to gentle exercise sessions and games, the new interactive screen will support a wide range of enriching moments for everyone here at Redwoods

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Pat Munro (Alness) Ltd. for their generous donation towards the TV. Their kindness and support are truly appreciated and will make a real difference to the daily lives of our residents 💙

A big thank you as well to our dedicated colleagues for helping bring everything together and ensuring our residents enjoy the very best experiences

🏉🎉 Six Nations Ready at Redwoods! 🎉🏉

Everyone enjoyed a brilliant morning getting ready for the start of the Six Nations Championship! The excitement was definitely building as we got creative in the kitchen, making our very own empire biscuits

Each biscuit was decorated with rugby balls representing all the different countries, plenty of icing, a touch of friendly competition over whose design looked best, and lots of laughter along the way!

Now we’re all set, biscuits plated up, and a wee dram poured, ready to sit down together and enjoy the opening game

There’s truly no better way to kick off the rugby! 💛

We had a fabulous day at Redwoods Care Home as we celebrated the birthday of the one and only Elvis Presley 💙🎤

🎶 Morning Sing‑Along
The day kicked off with a lively Elvis sing‑along, featuring some of his most loved songs. Residents enjoyed singing along, tapping their feet and sharing lovely memories connected to his music — it was wonderful to see everyone so engaged 😊🎶

🎬 Afternoon Movie Time
In the afternoon, residents settled in for a classic Elvis film. The home was made warm and cosy, everyone was comfortable and refreshments were enjoyed as part of a relaxed, cinema‑style experience 🍿🎥✨

It truly was a special day filled with music, smiles, and shared memories — moments like these bring so much joy to our community 💙🥰
