We’re seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our family of Community Care Assistants to provide care to a range of individuals in the ST7 and surrounding areas.
Driving licence essential.

Within your role as a Care Assistant, you will promote dignity, respect, and choice.

Tasks may include:
🩵 Providing personal care – Washing, bathing, toileting

🩵 Light domestic duties
🩵 Visits out into the communities
🩵 Social visits

We received this poem from one of our new carers 💙🩵

My first Month as a Carer

A month has flown by — I can hardly believe,
The things I’ve learned, the tricks up my sleeve.
From shaky beginnings and shoe cover fights,
To knowing each routine, each habit, each light.

The Molift no longer fills me with fear,
I move it with confidence — smooth, steady, clear.
I’ve mastered the cuppas (two sugars, not three),
And how to find towels that no one can see.

I’ve tried making beds — and oh, what a sight!
Sheets never quite tucked or corners done right.
No matter how neatly I flatten and fold,
It still looks like wrestling — or so I’ve been told.

And just when I thought I was getting quite slick,
I got a complaint that made me feel sick —
“Someone’s stolen my knickers!” she cried in alarm,
(They were under the cushion — safe from all harm!)

But there are sweet mornings that make my day shine,
Like quizzes at breakfast — her brain sharper than mine!
She beats me at questions from start until done,
And laughs, “You’ll learn something before this month’s gone!”

I’ve chatted through rain, through soaps and old songs,
And laughed at myself when I’ve got things wrongs.
I’ve learned that true caring is not just a task,
It’s noticing needs you don’t need to ask.

There’s dignity folded in every clean sheet,
Compassion in helping with shoes on their feet.
A smile, a soft word, or a hand to hold tight —
Those are the moments that make it feel right.

But what’s made it special, what’s truly the key,
Is the wonderful team that’s been guiding me.
They’ve cheered me, reassured me, and helped me grow strong,
With kindness and laughter when things went wrong.

I adore every one of them — truly, I do,
The warmth in their hearts just shines right through.
They’ve turned nerves to confidence, doubt into cheer,
And made me so proud to be working here.

I’ve spilt tea, I’ve giggled, I’ve stayed late to talk,
I’ve joined in a dance (well… more of a walk).
I’ve seen quiet courage and kindness so deep,
That some nights, it follows me home in my sleep.

So here’s to the carers, both new and well-worn,
To the laughter, the tea, and the early-morn yawn.
It’s not always easy, but it’s honest and true —
And I’m proud of the heart this month’s brought me to.

Allowing client's to make decisions and take charge of their life, emphasising their own objectives and assets, and offering chances for self-care and social interaction are all part of supporting their independence. Using assistive technology, allowing clients to engage in fun activities, allowing them to participate in decisions regarding their treatment, and encouraging them to take charge of their own health and well-being are all important tactics that we promote at Blooming Good Care LTD. After shopping, we helped this lady come home and prepare her meal. 💙🩵
