As the year draws to a close, it’s common to think of the people who are special to us – especially those we've lost. That’s why we’ve chosen to take part in Light a Candle.

From 15 to 21 December we’ll be posting digital candles in memory of those who can’t be with us during the festive season. If you’d like to create a virtual candle, please click the following link where you can choose a design and write a short message to a loved one.

There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

We’re pleased to announce the return of Light a Candle this Christmas!

Taking part in this Christmas’s Light a Candle gives you the opportunity to create online memorials throughout the festive period.

Christmas is a special time to celebrate with family and friends, and our virtual candles are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to loved ones who are no longer with us.

We'll be sharing virtual candles on our page between 15 and 21 December. There's no cost for you or your family to get involved and create an online memorial.

We’re delighted to be part of the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints Church, Church Lawton 🎄✨

Alongside wonderful local businesses and community groups, we’ve decorated our tree to help bring some festive cheer to this special community event.

The festival runs until Friday 12th December - everyone is welcome to pop in, take a look around and enjoy the beautiful displays.

We’re proud once again to sponsor and decorate one of the Christmas Trees at the Wesley Place Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival, as part of the Alsager Light Switch On. 🎄

This year, our tree is a Tree of Remembrance — a gentle space for reflection and love.
�We invite anyone wishing to remember a loved one to write an In Memory tag and hang it on the tree. Each message becomes part of a beautiful tribute to those we hold close in our hearts, especially at this time of year. 🤍

Everyone is welcome to stop by, take a moment and add a memory of someone special.

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫

Today, we were proud to join our community in coming together to honour those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

Our mother–daughter duo, Melanie and Emma walked with Alsager Tangent, while Emma’s son also joined for his first parade with his Beavers group — three generations coming together to remember. A touching moment that reflects the values at the heart of our independent funeral directors.

The gathering at the Cenotaph and the service that followed were moving moments of reflection and gratitude, showing the true spirit of Alsager: united, respectful and full of heart.
