🚐 A trip to Maldon's Promenade Park was on the agenda today! This popular leisure destination is located on the sloping bank of the river Blackwater. 🌳🌞

A light stroll around the park and had a brief history lesson about the Battle of Maldon near the Statue of Earl Byrhtnoth - I'm sure this will be tested in future quizzes! 🤔

All followed by a spot of lunch 🍽 at The Queen's Head pub. It's safe to say the ice cold beverage at the pub went down a treat! 🍺🍹

🇮🇹 🍕 Buon pomeriggio da Mansion House! 🍕 🇮🇹

Our residents enjoyed cuisine from Italy in the form of home made Pizza, and Lasagne. All finished off with a Italian themed cupcake or tiramisu! All washed down with a choice of beer 🍻 or wine! 🥂

Today we got our thinking caps on, and played Scattergories!

Scattergories is a creative-thinking category-based party/group game. The objective is to think of as many uniquely naming objects, people, actions, and so forth within a set of categories, given an initial letter as you can! The letter of the day was "A"

I don't think we did too badly today! Can you think of any extras without cheating?🤔

🌞 🇪🇸 ¡Hola! from Mansion House Residential Home 🇪🇸 🌞

Our residents enjoyed cuisine from the Mediterranean in the form of Spanish Chicken & Chorizo, and Spanish Egg Tortilla (Frittata). All finished off with a Spanish themed cupcake!

Huge compliments to the catering staff for putting together this special cuisine themed day for our lovely residents!
