📣 Help Us Save Money & Stay Connected – Turn On Notifications in Your NHS App
As we enter the new financial year, GP practices now have a limited number of text messages they can send. To make sure you continue receiving important updates without reducing our allowance, please take a moment to:
✅ Turn on notifications in your NHS App
Messages sent via the app do not come out of our text message limit, meaning we can keep you informed without additional cost.
✅ Add an email address to your medical record
Any email address can only be linked to one registered patient per practice, but email messages are free for us to send. Adding yours gives us another no‑cost way to reach you.
Your support helps us reduce expenses while still keeping you up to date with essential information about your health and our services.

👉 Here’s how to switch on notifications:

💙 World Autism Day – 2 April
💙 Autism Awareness Month – All of April
Today is World Autism Day, and throughout April we recognise Autism Awareness Month — a time to celebrate neurodiversity, raise understanding, and stand alongside autistic people and those who support them.
We know that supporting someone with additional needs can be both rewarding and challenging, and no one should feel they have to navigate that journey alone.
That’s why we want to highlight a wonderful local space offering calm, connection, and community.

🌿 The Breathing Space – Support for Those Supporting Others
The Breathing Space is a welcoming group for anyone who supports a person with additional needs — including autism.
It’s a safe, relaxed environment to:
✨ Pause and breathe
✨ Meet others who “get it”
✨ Share experiences without judgement
✨ Find encouragement, strength, and community
🕰 When?
Alternate Thursdays
7:30pm – 9:30pm
📍 Where?
Holy Rood Church, Holybourne
💬 Private Facebook Support Group
You can also join their supportive private Facebook community here:

If you or someone you know supports a person with autism or other additional needs, please know: you are not alone.
Reaching out, connecting with others, and finding your community can make all the difference.
