GRX Life has long supported Team Endeavour, and this year’s challenge is no different. Ryan will be heading off to the beaches in Normandy this weekend, alongside 13 volunteer walkers and 6 other admin team members.
The team will be walking 47.2 miles over 3 days, spanning all 5 beaches. Each one of the walking team will be carrying the infantry fighting weight of 24Lbs. The route will allow all involved to reflect on and show their respect for the events that took place on 6th June 80 years ago. With commemorative briefings and unique insights shared at various points along the way, this will be an emotive trip offering our fundraisers the chance to touch and feel a bit of living history.
All the people taking part in Team Endeavour’s D-Day Challenge are covering their own costs to be there, helping to ensure that all the money raised will go directly to the charity and the individuals they help.
