Elevate your long weekend with a grounding ritual :
 
🌷Put your phone on 'Do Not Disturb'
 
🏵 Close the curtains and safely light a candle

🌹 Roll out your mat, cover yourself with a blanket, place a cushion under knees

🌺 Place hands on belly, rest backs of the upper arms on the mat

🪻 Relax shoulders, unclench the jaw, soften the belly, let your feet fall away from each other

🌼 Breathe in through nostrils, inflate belly, ribs, collar bones...pause...exhale softly out of mouth, collar bones fall, ribs fall, softly draw belly button in and up

🌻Slow gentle breaths, no forcing, allow mind to follow breath

🪷 Relax, relax, relax

A gentle return..

I have missed our beloved Yoga Nidra and I would like to invite you to this deeply nourishing practice again. Please book before 1st April to ensure your space:

Often referred to as Yogic Sleep, Yoga Nidra will guide you to a relaxed state where the body rests deeply and the mind is fully awake. This practice is of profound restoration. I really can not wait to share this with you again x

Before we see each other again, here is Belly breathing (Dirga Pranayama), a gentle moment for you:

*Sit or lie comfortably, place your hands on your belly
*Inhale through the nose, allow the belly to rise
*Exhale softly, belly button gently pulls in and upwards towards the spine
*Continue in a slow steady rhythm, allowing the breath to be slow and easy

This brings a mindful moment to your day, connecting body, mind and breath x

If you love to rest and relax, this is for you ✨️

After a gentle stretch, relax on your mat in our lovely warm hall. Wear warm loose clothing, surround yourself with blankets, pillows, anything you need to rest comfortably! This guided relaxation combines a body scan, breath awareness and visualization techniques allowing you to really nourish every part of you.

This practise is the equivalent of 4 hours sleep! It really is a hidden gem that I’d love to share with you x

Love to you all on this Chinese New Year 🎋 2026 will be the first Fire Horse New Year in 60 years. 🐎🔥

Moving away from the year of the Snake, shedding old layers of what no longer serves us. The year of the Horse brings action, movement, light, self-expression, courage, opportunities and growth 🎐

The element is Fire, bringing passion, drive and intensity to the years energy.

Here is a warming energising breathwork practice, Ujjayi Pranayama. Warming from the inside out:

*Come to a comfortable seated position, long spine.
*Relax the facial muscles + jaw.
*Close the mouth then calmly and smoothly draw breath in through the nose and out through the nose with a slight constriction at the back of the throat.
*Inhales + exhales equal length.
*Allow the breath to flow without force.
*Practice for 5 rounds of breath.
*Return to natural rhythm of breath.
Contradictions:
High / low blood pressure, heart disease, migraines + pregnancy.

What to expect with Zoë 💗

During our time together, we will explore pranayama (breathwork), helping us to relax, release tension and experience how the mind and the body are connected.  

Traditional Hatha yoga postures are practiced to help settle the body, improve balance, posture and strengthen. Postures are adaptable and suitable for all levels. Listen to your body, you are your best teacher 💗

To conclude class, there is a relaxation, so bring a blanket and pillow for comfort 💗

Ujjayi Breath
* Seated tall spine, soft face, shoulders and belly

*Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, restricting the back of your throat and creating a “ha” sound on the exhale. (Imagine that you are fogging up a mirror for 3 rounds of breath)

*Close your lips and continue to breathe in and out of your nostrils creating the same “ha” sound

*Keep even inhales and exhales throughout your practice

*Practice without force for 5 rounds of breath

*Deepen breath and allow the breath to settle naturally

I completed my training as Reiki Master in the Usui System of Reiki in 2023. I also bring 8 years experience as a Yoga Teacher, guiding others towards healing and balance focusing on breathwork and relaxation. I believe that true wellness comes from aligning the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual self.

Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that originated in Japan. The term "Reiki" combines two Japanese words:

• Rei - Spirit or Soul
• Ki - Universal Life Force energy

It is based on the concept that life energy flows through all living beings and disruptions in this energy flow can cause physical, emotional, spiritual imbalances or dis-ease.

Reiki is non-religious, gentle, and often used alongside conventional medical treatments as it is recognised by the NHS.

By hovering my hands over your clothed body, Reiki will calm the nervous system, ease pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal. Emotionally, it releases stored tension and brings clarity and peace. Reiki has a positive impact on mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression and stress. Spiritually, it reconnects us to our inner wisdom and sense of wholeness.

I dedicate time for a Reiki self-treatment and meditation every day. Reiki has changed my World ✨️

I love hearing how Reiki has been so profound for my clients as the energy flow has given a deep sense of calm and relaxation. Some clients experience better sleep and more clarity as they have released uncomfortable emotions, tension and thought patterns.
