This afternoon at Alton Place Care Home, the smell of freshly baked biscuits filled the air 🍪💛
Two of our lovely residents spent time baking together, sharing laughs, stories, and enjoying each other’s company. Their friendship is a beautiful reminder that it’s the simple moments — a cup of tea, a batch of biscuits, and good company — that make our days so special.

One of our residents shared that they would like to feed the birds, so we spent some time outside doing just that. It was a lovely opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, watch the birds, and take in the peaceful surroundings. We then enjoyed a gentle walk around the home’s gardens, making the most of the fresh air and spending some quality time outdoors. A really relaxing and enjoyable moment. 🍃

It was a peaceful and meaningful service, reminding us of faith, journey, and the joy of worshipping together as a community. We love making the most of our spare moments here at Alton Place 💙 Trying new games, being a little random, and having lots of laughs along the way! simple joys, special memories, and dreams for the year ahead – it was so lovely to see everyone getting creative and sharing what matters most to them.
