So Friday's singalong was dedicated to a truly special lady (Jean); who would have celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday. Sadly, she didn’t quite make this incredible milestone, but she was very much in our hearts and thoughts. ❤️
As we sang together, there were smiles, memories, and quiet moments of reflection — a beautiful way to remember someone who meant so much to so many. Though no longer with us, she will never be forgotten and will always hold a special place in our Borovere family. 💐
Happy heavenly 100th birthday. ✨

Friday means singalong time at Borovere! 🎶

And what a playlist we have lined up this morning! From Perry Como and Buddy Holly to Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield and Frank Sinatra, we’ll be taking a wonderful trip down memory lane together. ❤️

There’ll be toe tapping, singing along, a few memories shared, and maybe even a little dancing in the chair! 💃🕺

Tea at the ready… voices warmed up… let’s make it a lovely Friday morning full of music and smiles 😊🎵

Today, residents enjoyed a wonderful Springtime Quiz hosted by the one and only Amazing Amanda – the host with the most! 🌷🐰
From word games and springtime clues to lots of laughter and friendly competition, everyone got their thinking caps on and shared some fantastic answers! 🧠💐
A lovely way to keep minds active while enjoying all things spring 🌞🌼

🌞 Too hot for exercise today… but residents can still enjoy the music! 🎶

With temperatures soaring, we decided to swap our usual armchair exercise session for a relaxed Summer Heatwave Singalong this morning at Borovere ☀️

Residents can still enjoy plenty of singing, toe tapping, seaside memories and feel-good summer songs — all while staying cool and comfortable indoors 😊🎵

At Borovere, resident comfort and wellbeing always comes first, especially during the warmer weather.

And of course… there may even be an ice cream or two later 🍦😄

☀️ Please Note: Due to the extremely hot weather (up to 33°C) on Monday and Tuesday, activities may be slower paced or subject to change to ensure resident comfort and wellbeing. Plenty of drinks and cool-down time will be encouraged. 😊

At Borovere, there’s always time for a bit of laughter and fun, and Andy was more than happy to join in! Chloe certainly had an eye for fashion with this colourful combination… pink wig, feather boa and tutu included! 😆

You threw yourself into everything – activities, games, exercise sessions and spending time with our wonderful residents – and we’ve loved having you as part of the Borovere family. 😊
