Today we’re celebrating all things Welsh – from beautiful daffodils to wonderful traditions and maybe even a rousing chorus of Calon Lân! 💛

🌼 Out Like a Lion, In Like a Lamb! 🐑🦁
February is nearly over and we’re getting ready to welcome March here at Borovere Care Home
Our springtime window display is bright, cheerful and full of seasonal charm. As the saying goes, March can be out like a lion and in like a lamb – so we’re ready for a little roar before those gentler spring days arrive.
The residents have loved helping to bring a touch of spring indoors, adding colour, creativity and plenty of smiles along the way. 🌷💛
Sam from activities said, “Seeing everyone get involved and watching the home brighten up is what it’s all about — spring really lifts the mood for us all.”
Here’s to longer days, lighter evenings and the promise of warmer sunshine ahead!

🎉🎂 Birthday Celebrations at Borovere Care Home Today! 🎂🎉
Today it was Jan’s turn to celebrate at Borovere Care Home and what a lovely day it’s been! 💕
Jan was all smiles as she showed off her beautiful new top and cardigan – looking absolutely fabulous! She was also treated to some delicious sweets and chocolates (which went down very nicely 😋).
And of course… the star of the show… a truly gorgeous birthday cake! 🎂✨ It looked amazing and tasted just as good!
Happy Birthday, Jan! We hope your day has been filled with love, laughter and lots of special moments. 💐💖
