What a wonderful time the people living with us had along with their beloved ones, and the members of the staff, enjoying this very special Non Alcoholic Prosecco Afternoon Tea.

Everyone got involved from the very beginning, from displaying the decorations to making food. Delicious sandwiches (a very special thanks to the always supportive kitchen staff) were served along with cakes, cupcakes and of course non alcoholic Prosecco. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, having drinks, singing and dancing, and More...Socialising.

A completely memorable afternoon!

The people living with us had an amazing time last Friday out in our garden, enjoying More...Fresh Air, the lovely sunshine, and singing and dancing along to their favourites songs performed by the always great Joe Cockx.

What a wonderful time the people living with us had enjoying ice cream at Allingham House - everyone had the opportunity to choose between different flavours and adding different syrups.

What a wonderful time the people living with us had along their beloved ones, members of the staff and the members of the community. Everyone came together to celebrate our traditional Summer Fair, the theme this year was Hawaiian Party and everyone made an effort to dress their best Hawaiian outfits.
Debbie Maccormick, performed some of the best and well know summer songs that everyone enjoyed singing and dancing along. Also, we had delicious food cooked by the always Wonderful Boris who was in charge of the BBQ and Eki who cooked delicious traditional African food.

Thank you very much for all your hard work, and to all the people who joined us this very special day. You made this day memorable!!

Ponies have an innate emotional understanding, encouraging people communication and improving their wellbeing.

We could confirm all these benefits when Caramel and William came to visit the people living with us, We all enjoyed their visit, creating everlasting memories that will stay with us forever.

The people living with us enjoyed the always buzzing area of Media City, home of Manchester Media like BBC and ITV.

Apart from enjoy a great walk and More...Fresh Air around the area, they enjoyed the visit to the Imperial War Museum and The Lowry Museum.

The people living with us had a unique experience at The Lowry, with some amazing 360 degree technology that put them inside of Lowry paintings. They absolutely loved it!

We have received our two brand new one to one trollies, and one of the lovely people living with us showed his DIY skills connecting the different parts of the trolley!

The people living with us joined in celebrating one of the most famous books in UK, Alice in Wonderland, and what better way to do it than enjoying a delicious Afternoon Tea with the Mad Hatter and The Queen of Hearts!

Everyone got involved from the beginning, creating a beautiful red rose tree, under which we were hosting this very special Afternoon Tea. The people living with us, along with their loved ones and members of staff had a memorable day, full of More...Socialising.

Allingham House celebrated 🌈 Pride Month by creating a beautiful mural full of rainbows with positive messages like Love, Equality and Pride.

Everyone joined together to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. It was a day filled with More...Socialising and More...Connection, and the lovely people living with us had a great time.

Allingham House has celebrated Summer Solstice with a multitude of different activities, getting involved not just the people living with us but their loved ones, members of the community as well as member of the staff, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Summer Solstice is the best time of the year when the Sun and the Earth are closest to each other. Also, we know the capital importance of putting the people living with us at the very centre of the community.

For these reasons, we decided to bring Sun and Earth together and we invited a group of volunteers from the local parish to join us in a More...Sensory experience, modelling clay and colouring with strong and vibrant yellow colour, symbolising the union between Earth and Sun.

It was a complete success, the intergenerational interactions created between the volunteers and the people living with us gave everyone the opportunity to have a great time and enjoy More...Connection.

We also let our imaginations run free, creating beautiful illustrations that put a note of colour in their bedroom. It was also the best opportunity to reminisce together about summer holidays, knowing more about each other, creating a deeper bound.

Allingham House is a purpose-built care facility, situated in a secluded residential location in Timperley, which provides residential, nursing and dementia care. The home also offers short term stays and a day care service to give family carers some respite. Hospitality and the provision of hotel-style services play a large role in everyday life at Allingham House, with a dedicated hospitality team in place as well as a team of Activities Coordinators who deliver a varied program of one-to-one and social activities and events each day.
