A huge thank you to Blackstone Solicitors for joining us at Halecroft Grange 💜 today.

We welcomed Niyusha, who kindly offered her time to run a drop-in clinic for our residents. Throughout the day, residents were able to pop in for a chat and receive free advice on important matters such as wills, power of attorney, and other personal questions they wished to discuss.

Her approachable and supportive manner made it easy for residents to seek guidance on topics that can often feel overwhelming.

We’re so grateful to Niyusha for contributing her time and expertise — it made a real difference to our residents. 🌟

🍽️✨ We had such a lovely afternoon at The Plough & Flail in Mobberley!

Our residents enjoyed a delicious meal, refreshing drinks, and the warmth of each other’s company. 🥂💜

For one of our gentlemen, the visit was especially meaningful – this was the very pub where he and his wife went for dinner every Friday, bringing back beautiful memories of their time together. 💭❤️

Moments like this remind us how special it is to revisit places that hold love, laughter, and cherished memories close to the heart. 💕

🌸 A Remarkable Milestone at Halecroft Grange 💜

On Saturday, we had the privilege of celebrating Jo’s 100th birthday, a truly extraordinary occasion. Surrounded by the love of her entire family – children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren – Jo’s day was filled with joy, laughter, and a wonderful surprise gathering in her honour.

Jo is a truly remarkable lady whose kindness and engaging spirit brighten every room. Her love for her daily sudoku keeps her mind active and sharp, a reflection of her wonderful determination and zest for life. She has shared a lifetime of wisdom, love, and values with her family, leaving a legacy that shines brightly through the generations gathered to celebrate her.

Reaching a century of life is an incredible achievement, and it was a joy to mark this moment with such a beautiful celebration of family, love, and treasured memories.

At Halecroft Grange 💜 we had the joy of celebrating our wonderful resident, Blanche, on her birthday! 🥳🎉

Blanche is such a well-loved and respected lady, known not only for her kindness and wisdom, but also for her wonderful sense of humour that brings so much laughter and joy to those around her 🌸💜. She has a way of lighting up every room with her wit and warmth, making our home feel even more special.

Lavender essential oils drift softly through the air, sensory lights create a tranquil atmosphere across the walls and ceiling, while calming music completes the spa-like experience ✨🎶.

☀️🍔 What a fantastic time we had at Halecroft Grange 💜!

Chef Sarah worked her magic on the BBQ while our brilliant Head of Maintenance, Dave, swapped his toolkit for tongs 🔧➡️🍴. Together they served up a feast that had everyone going back for seconds! 😋🔥

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, the fabulous Berni Stubbs arrived for the after-party 🎶💃. There was singing, dancing, and plenty of dressing up – from colourful grass skirts 🌺 to silly glasses 🤩. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the smiles said it all! 🥳

A day full of food, fun and friendship – exactly what we love here at Halecroft Grange. 💜

💜 History, Friendship & A Cuppa at the Canals! 💜

Yesterday some of our lovely residents enjoyed a trip to the Anderton Boat Lift – known as the “Cathedral of the Canals” ⛴️✨ This incredible piece of Victorian engineering has been standing since 1875 and still amazes everyone who visits!

Our residents loved learning about how it works, watching some fascinating videos 🎥, and chatting together about the history of the canals. Afterwards, we enjoyed a cosy cuppa ☕🍰 with plenty of biscuits and laughter 🥰 The café gave us the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the views of this amazing landmark.

It was such a wonderful mix of history, friendship, and fun – exactly what makes our days so special 💜

Bonjour, from Halecroft Grange Care Home . Tuesday morning was spent brushing up our school days French with Liz Syed. The residents were totally engaged with the class. We went shopping in France, from the Boulangeres for le pain, the fleuriste for some fleurs and the Marche for carotte.
Thank you Liz, the residents had a great time.

A Week in the Life of Halecroft Grange. It's been a week of sunshine, commemoration and dancing.
The week started gently with a bit of biscuit decorating. Not all the Gingerbread Men made it as far as decorating, one poor soul was dunked in tea and lost his leg! His head came off next!
A gentle exercise class got everyone moving. Work off the biscuits.
We commemorated VJ Day with a bit of entertainment by Lainey, singing and dancing was the order of the day.
To finish off the week a lovely trip in the sunshine to Wilmslow Garden Centre.
We're all looking forward to what next week brings.

We all have wishes. Some are big, some are small. It could be to win the lottery (or is that just me? 🤞) or to travel 🌎. At Halecroft Grange the wishes are a little easier to fulfill.
This week we made Caths wish come true. All she wanted was to go shopping. Bring on a trip to Handforth Dean 🛒🛒.
There was lots of things to look at and it took time to decide, Cath chose a lovely cardigan, and who can say no to tea and cake?
