This month, we’re celebrating the amazing Ellie 👏

Honestly, if you’ve spent even five minutes around Ellie, you’ll know exactly why she’s been nominated… she’s just lovely ❤️

Always smiling, always calm, and always taking that little bit of extra time with our residents – whether it’s a chat, a laugh, or just being there when it matters most 💬✨

A few people have said it best… she’s a real breath of fresh air and we couldn’t agree more. She brings such a natural warmth to the home, and it doesn’t go unnoticed by anyone around her 💜

The kind of person you want on your team… and the kind of person our residents absolutely adore 👏

Today at Halecroft Grange 💜 we celebrated a truly special lady… our lovely Joan’s 99th birthday 🎂🥳

Joan is someone who means so much to everyone here. Her warmth, her smile, and that little sparkle in her eyes make her an absolute joy to be around every single day 💫

From a beautiful cake (almost too pretty to cut! 🎂🌸) to a room filled with laughter, love and familiar faces, it was a celebration she so richly deserves ❤️

Days like today really show what Halecroft Grange 💜 is all about — people, connection, and celebrating every chapter of life together.

Continuing our Colleague Appreciation Week at Halecroft Grange 💜… today we’re shining the spotlight on the team that keeps everyone going — our incredible Kitchen & Dining team 👨‍🍳🍽️

From the early morning starts to the last plates of the day, this team doesn’t stop. It’s not just about cooking meals… it’s about creating moments, comfort, and something our residents genuinely look forward to every single day ❤️

Freshly prepared food, beautifully presented plates, special requests remembered, dietary needs met without a second thought — and all served with warmth, humour and care 🙌

And let’s be honest… when the home smells amazing, we all know exactly who’s behind it 😍

This week, each team member received a small token of appreciation — but what they give to our residents day in, day out? That’s something much bigger 👏

☀️ BBQ vibes, blue skies & a courtyard full of life at Halecroft Grange 💜

Wow… where do we even start with yesterday 😍🔥

The sun was shining, the courtyard was buzzing, and the smell of the BBQ had everyone smiling before the first bite was even served 🍔🍗

Our residents, families and team came together for one of those days that just felt right… tables full, glasses clinking, laughter everywhere, and that proper summer energy we all love 🌿☀️🍷

And let’s talk about the food…

Chef Sarah 👩‍🍳, Chef Kieran 👨‍🍳 and Dave 👏 absolutely smashed it from start to finish.

Burgers sizzling, chicken cooked to perfection, fresh salads, ice creams doing the rounds, and of course a cheeky glass (or two) of wine to top it all off 🍦🍷🔥

Everything just flowed… the team grafting behind the scenes, the courtyard looking incredible, and our residents soaking up every second 💜

We were also proud to welcome our Regional and Operations Directors, who got to see Halecroft Grange at its very best — full of energy, connection, and community… and yes, they didn’t leave without grabbing a burger either 😉🍔

This is what it’s all about.

Today, we kicked things off by celebrating our incredible Residential Dementia team… and what a team they are.

From the early mornings to the late evenings, the care, patience, humour and genuine kindness you show every single day does not go unnoticed. You don’t just support our residents… you lift them, comfort them, and bring real moments of joy into their lives. That takes something special 💫

We wanted to show a small token of our appreciation with some well-earned treats (and plenty of them 🍫🧁🥤)… but the truth is, it will never quite match the effort you all put in day in, day out.

Thank you for everything you do — for our residents, for their families, and for each other. You are the heartbeat of the home ❤️

And this is just the beginning… more appreciation coming for the rest of our amazing teams 👀

This weekend, Beverley — our fantastic Head Housekeeper — will be lining up for the London Marathon, taking on 26.2 miles for an incredibly important cause 👏

Bev brings so much warmth, energy and care into Halecroft Grange every single day 💜 — and now she’s putting that same heart into raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Jess is a valued member of our residential dementia team here at Halecroft Grange, and she really is a lovely girl to have as part of the team. Always kind, approachable, and great with our residents – she brings a warmth that makes a real difference day to day 💜
