At Halecroft Grange 💜, we came together to mark Holocaust Memorial Day with reflection, remembrance, and respect.

Our resident Alma delivered a beautifully worded and deeply moving speech, honouring those who were lost and reminding us all of the importance of remembering their lives and stories. Following her words, we held a two-minute silence, giving space for quiet thought and remembrance.

Alma also shared something incredibly personal — a handmade quilt lovingly created for her by her aunt. The quilt was embroidered by her aunt, who Alma believes lived through the time of World War One and worked as a nurse in a hospital. It served as a powerful reminder of personal history, resilience, and the human stories that connect generations.

Moments like these remind us why remembrance matters — not just in history books, but in our hearts and in the stories we continue to share.

🎉🎂 A very special celebration at Halecroft Grange! 🎂🎉

We were absolutely delighted to celebrate Geeti’s 90th birthday in style! 🥳💐 What a truly wonderful milestone and what a fantastic day it was.

Geeti was surrounded by so much love as her family and friends joined us to mark this special occasion, filling the home with laughter, smiles and joy 💖✨ The atmosphere was amazing from start to finish!

A huge shout-out to our wonderful kitchen team who put on an incredible spread 🍰🍓🥪 — delicious food, plenty of treats and, of course, lots of drinks flowing 🥂🍷 as everyone raised a glass to Geeti’s health and happiness.

Moments like these are what make our home so special — creating memories, sharing joy and celebrating life together 🎈💞

Nothing is ever too much trouble – whether it’s offering a reassuring smile, lending a helping hand, or quietly making sure everyone around her is supported and cared for ❤️🤝

✨ Welcoming 2026 at Halecroft Grange ✨

We said goodbye to 2025 and welcomed the New Year in the best possible way at Halecroft Grange 💜 — with music, laughter, and lots of celebration.

Last night we were delighted to welcome the wonderful Lainey Buckles, who helped us sing, dance, and smile our way into the New Year 🎤💃🕺

With plenty of drinks flowing, delicious food, snacks, and treats on hand, the atmosphere was full of joy, warmth, and togetherness.

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to our incredible residents, their families, our dedicated team, and everyone who supports our home. 2025 was a year full of special moments, shared memories, and meaningful connections — and we are truly grateful for every single one.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for another year of fulfilling lives, new experiences, and even more moments that make Halecroft Grange feel like home.

A little late post from last week on Christmas Eve… but too lovely not to share 🎄✨

We had Berni Stubbs come in to sing and entertain our residents, and it was such a lovely evening 🎶😊 Lots of smiling faces, singing along, and really good festive vibes around the home. Everyone had a great time and it was the perfect way to spend Christmas Eve together.

🎶 What a fantastic time we had welcoming our wonderful ukulele band back to Halecroft Grange 💜! 🎶
Our residents absolutely love these guys — they never fail to bring positivity, laughter, and the best feel-good vibes into our home 😊✨ From toe-tapping tunes to big sing-alongs, everyone was getting involved, clapping along, and smiling from ear to ear 🎤👏
The atmosphere was incredible and, as you can see from the photos, we had a FULL HOUSE! 🤩 So many residents joined us that we overflowed into the main hall and the bistro — proof of just how much these sessions are enjoyed 💃🪕🎵
Music really does bring people together, lifting spirits and creating special moments we’ll remember for a long time 💖 A huge thank you to our ukulele friends for another unforgettable visit — we can’t wait to have you back! 🌟

Last week at Halecroft Grange 💜 we truly got into the Christmas spirit as we put on a wonderful Christmas party for our residents 🎅🎶
Our restaurant was transformed into a party-style setting, with tables laid out beautifully and a delicious festive spread ready for everyone to enjoy 🍽️✨ It was very much all hands on deck as staff and residents came together to make the day extra special ❤️
The room was filled with music, laughter and Christmas cheer 🎵🎄 From festive tunes playing in the background to smiling faces all around, it was a joy to see everyone soaking up the celebrations, chatting, laughing and enjoying the moment 🎉😊

Yesterday, we took some of our residents out for a lovely pub lunch at the Axe and Cleaver 🍽️🍻

There were plenty of smiles, good food on the table, and great conversation flowing as everyone enjoyed a relaxed afternoon out together. Moments like these mean so much and are always full of warmth and laughter 😊💜
