Community Breath to Pranayama

Join me, to help calm your anxieties, ground your fears, be present, and start your day with the patience to transform the way in which you respond to challenging life circumstances.

Lets evolve from an overstimulated, reactive & disconnected state, unable to know which way to turn. To a more conscious, centred, focused state of mind.

Gathering in a virtual circle two mornings a week via Zoom

Monday & Wednesday at 7am 30 mins

Whenever we are faced with any stressful situations, the first thing we notice is how it affects the way in which we breathe. When we are able to switch from a shallow, rapid, breath to slow diaphragmatic breathing, we bathe the nervous system and calm the mind.

Classes are suitable for all abilities from total beginners to those more familiar with breath work.

Perhaps it could be your opportunity to change your reality in just a small way, to start the day feeling more positive, a little more joyful and feeling connected to others wearing their pyjamas. So please come and join me if you can, you can choose to switch off your camera so you don’t even need to brush your hair!��Let’s do what we can, to spread some ‘presence’ and shine some light.

Helping you build a daily practice which helps you to listen deeply & honour what you need.

Because it takes great courage to face your personal s**t.

Thank you Lori .and.body, sharing her wisdom of both being a yoga teacher and therapist dealing with deep addiction patterns.

Here she explores the less “blissful “ side of yoga, having to face the shadows to acknowledge any unconscious or suppressed patterns.

These are the things that prevent us from being present.

🌱We support our students through every down dog & even those moods that pull us down.

🪷Because it takes great courage to face any uncomfortable sensations to feel into them until they are ready to leave.

✨She helped give our tt students the tools and tips to help when we get distracted tips to stay grounded when our minds wants to run away.

🌈It takes great courage to switch from negative self talk to positive self love.

🧘It takes great courage to state your boundaries , to ask for what you need even when it’s simpler to not bother.

🙌🏼It takes great courage to be authentic and dare to be different.

🤔It takes great courage to have uncomfortable conversations with others when something feels off.

💫It takes great courage to step away from the programming to move with life rather being moved by life.

In these 2 hour workshops Sammy-Jo will help you to become more aware of the intricate mechanics of breathing; To delve deep into the nuances of breath work, movement & asana to explore how different muscles initiate and facilitate the breath.

Through feeling the breath and how it moves within the body, you can remove blockages to free up the breath to both support stress & enhance mental clarity. You will discover the benefits of diaphragmatic breathing—the most efficient breathwork technique to calm the mind.

Do you REST enough?
Many confuse Yoga with exercise or being flexible, or some form of self torture forcing the body into a place it resists wanting to be.

What about being in a state of allowing? Feeling the power of the breath v force? It can be embodied meditation a means to feel more present.

Thank you for guiding me to the understanding that my emotional nature isn’t a weakness, as I’ve been lead to believe my whole life, but instead my most treasured strength.

I hope to help people embrace their emotions, to release and let go of what’s weighing them down, to connect them with the divine essence within and all around. So thank you for allowing me to do this on this teacher training!”

Finding your own unique voice can be challenging but we take it slowly, breath by breath, posture by posture…finding the right cues and tips, so someone else hears and sees you .

Being clear on what relaxes you in your own practice so those who you teach will go home feeling relaxed, sleeping better and coming back for more!

…and not to mention a supportive community to encourage, nurture.
