I am a 200 hour Independent Yoga Network certified yoga teacher who trained with Studio One Yoga in the North West. I started my yoga journey and first realised my passion over 20 years ago thanks to my wonderful Mum. Since then I have practiced many styles of yoga although mainly Hatha, Iyengar & Vinyasa Flow. My love and understanding of yoga has grown deeper and deeper over time which led me to embark on my teacher training with the inspiring Michelle Almond & Maxine Geary. My style of yoga is an Authentic Yoga Flow a fusion of Hatha, Vinvasa Flow and Iyengar yoga focusing on strength, alignment & you. Postures are held in-between flow sequences giving the body time to ensure correct alignment.This builds strength within the body and also gives fluidity to the movement by using the breath. My classes are fun and relaxed yet challenging within each individuals limits. Be prepared to work up a bit of a sweat but finish feeling reconnected, rejuvenated & relaxed. lucieplattyoga@gmail.com

🙏🏻☀️Taking a Summer Pause ☀️🙏🏻

It’s become a bit of a tradition. I’m stepping away from the socials over the summer holidays.

This little break allows me to be more present with my family & friends and to properly switch off without the distraction of the scroll!

Behind the scenes I’ll be enjoying some surf in Portugal 🏄🏻‍♀️and also pouring my energy into my brand new website, which I’m so excited to share with you in early September. Thank you so much it’s all coming together! (if it’s ready sooner, I might just sneak back on here!)

Hoping you can make some space for you this summer. Rest, move, breathe and enjoy the small things!

If the sunshine decides to return, I hoping to offer some outdoor sessions. I will only be announcing those on my WhatsApp group so make sure you are part of it.! (Link in bio)!

💚We’re beyond excited to announce an exciting new collaboration with Lucie Platt Yoga & Alice Belton from Real Food Wisdom.

🌿We met at the beautiful Olinda Community Gardens, and from the very beginning it was clear we’re totally the same vibe. We both share a deep love for nourishment, nature, community (and a good laugh!), so this collaboration has come together very naturally — and very joyfully!

💚So, we’re bringing you something super special…

🌿We’ll begin with a grounding and nourishing yoga session at the gorgeous InHale Yoga Studio with Lucie followed by a gentle stroll through Hale to Alice’s house to her beautiful walled secret garden. There, we’ll share a vibrant, seasonal organic brunch, lovingly created by Alice using whole, real ingredients. There will be an an abundance of food for you to try including Alices infamous sourdough bread.

💚Alongside delicious food and lovely company, Alice will also offer a short inspirational talk on how to bring real nourishment into your life in a way that’s simple, accessible and joyful.

A super special mini retreat day…Through uplifting flow grounding yin yoga, mindful movement, and time in nature, we’ll explore the idea of creating space from within – space to breathe, to feel, and to simply be. A nourishing lunch is included, and the setting couldn’t be more beautiful.

Mindfulness, movement, breath and relaxation

Life can be a challenge and sometimes unexpectedly so. We often find ourselves balancing many things: work and life, happiness and stress, relationships and time.
Finding that balance is a skill in itself and finding that balance in ourselves is key to health, happiness and longevity.

Senior Yoga Teachers, Lucie and Emma, are bringing you this very special Retreat Day Away at the magical Walled Garden School; giving you the space and time to explore and find your balance from within.
Yoga allows us to gain a greater awareness of our bodies and most importantly our needs. At stressful times we can surrender these needs for the sake of time and others’ needs and often push down our bodies’ signs and symptoms for our own needs.

In this special Retreat Day, we’ll explore various postures to listen to our bodies’ needs; gaining a greater awareness of finding that balance between effort and peace.

🏃🏻‍♀️Just completed the Hale 10k🏃🏻‍♀️

Beyond chuffed with a sub 55 mins!
Official time 54:25…not bad for an old bird!

Have to say another well organised event and love that the start & finish is literally walking distance from house!
Well done to everyone involved

Epsom salt bath followed by a good yoga stretch and a massive feed !

Many of my students run, cycle & play sport and yoga complements them all to help build strength, flexibility and mobility therefore preventing injury too!
