At the start of a new year, we’re excited to be updating you with our latest news.
Shortly before the end of the year, Claire finished for her maternity leave with her baby due soon.
Many of you have given in-person messages to pass on and for everyone who knows Claire, we’re sure you join all of us at Starlight in wishing her, Matt & Rosie all the very best for baby’s safe arrival!
At the same time we’re looking forward to welcoming back Jade this month after her maternity leave. Baby Eliza came into the world earlier this year and we thank husband James, and Eliza’s big brothers Arthur and Edward for looking after Jade and we’re grateful to having her back again!
Jade’s availability has been updated on the booking system and several of you have already booked in with her ahead of her return mid-January.
As with most businesses, we are not immune to the increasing costs we face in delivering the high standards of care you’ve come to expect at Starlight.
To ensure we can continue to maintain these levels, certain services will see modest price increases. Some have remained the same price for over five years as we strive to remain accessible to as wide a group as possible.
However we have to balance that with a mode that is sustainable.
Price rises apply to new bookings only so until they’re updated in the next few days, you can still book any service at the current price.
To reassure you, if you don’t know already, we only ever employ fully qualified, experienced medical professionals.
This is particularly relevant given recent news coverage of many high street and “pop-up” clinics alongside reports of widespread use of unsuitable, inappropriate and unqualified staff members performing ultrasound scans.
