Timperley Nursing Home Timperley is a dementia and nursing care home, purpose built in 2009 in the Cheshire village of Timperley.

Yesterday we celebrated in support of breast cancer awareness. 🎀Everyone came together to decorate cupcakes and enjoy the day. It was wonderful to see so many people take part and show their support for such an important cause 💗💜

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Kenyon Hall Farm for some seasonal picking, together with our sister home,Four Oaks Care Home. 🥰💜
The farm looked fantastic, filled with colourful displays and the beauty of autumn all around.
Everyone had a great time choosing their favourite pumpkins and enjoying the lovely Halloween atmosphere. 🍁🎃We warmed up with some hot drinks and tasty snacks, chatting and laughing as we admired the decorations.☕️
Joan and Pauline especially enjoyed a scenic tractor ride around the farm, which was a real highlight of the day.
One of our residents, Barbara, said, “I really enjoyed the trip, seeing all the families and children around. It’s nice to go out — it makes a lovely change”
It was so nice to see our friends and share such a fun experience together. We’re already looking forward to our next adventure! 👻🎃

We had a wonderful time celebrating Diwali together! 🪔🪷
Our buffet was filled with delicious traditional sweets and snacks that everyone enjoyed.
A special highlight of the day was a beautiful Bollywood dance show by Niha, the talented daughter of one of our nurses. She truly amazed us with her performance — so graceful and inspiring! 🌼

We also had a fun demonstration on how to wear a traditional sari, and even tried some Bollywood dance moves ourselves with our lovely residents.
To make the day even more colourful, we enjoyed beautiful tattoos done by our very talented Nasir 💜.

It was a lovely afternoon enjoyed by everyone, with plenty of fun, colour, and good company.

Here’s a little recap of our celebration! Our residents enjoyed a cosy morning baking session, making a traditional Ginger Loaf Cake 🍰— a favourite from Eastern Europe.
The warm aroma of ginger and cinnamon filled the room, and everyone was proud of how delicious it turned out. As one resident said with a smile, “It tastes just like ginger cake!”
A lovely way to celebrate good food and great company. 💜
