Bridget’s compassionate counselling approach focuses on helping individuals work towards meaningful change. She greatly values the importance of the ther**eutic relationship. Bridget works collaboratively with clients to strengthen their inner resources to develop insight, build coping strategies, and to move forward with greater self-trust and emotional balance.
As an integrative counsellor Bridget specifically tailors support to both individual clients by drawing on a range of ther**eutic models. With the client at the heart of her work she will explore challenges such as:
· relationship difficulties, marriage breakdowns
· abuse, addiction, anger management
· isolation, suicidal thoughts and complex trauma
· inner critic, self-doubt, and shame
· grief and loss
· anxiety, fear, panic, and overwhelm,
· depression, feeling stuck, and low mood
· workplace stress, burnout, and career transitions
Bridget has specific experience with Blue Light Service and Military Personnel and their families, relationship and marriage breakdowns and addiction related issues.
Bridget is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adheres to their ethical framework for good practice. This includes a commitment to ongoing professional growth and engaging in continued professional development by attending specialist training, workshops and clinical supervision.
