After 4.5 years here the broken cement has been fixed. No more winter pond/ice rink. Big thanks to Eddie for fixing it 😀 . That's the back of the studios refurbish complete now. As is the front (photos to come) , work inside continues everytime I get the chance to don my 'Bob the Builder' hat 🤣

Big shout out to Nicols Opticians, how brilliant is it to have an opticians in the street ! Lucky for me definitely with my ever decreasing eyesight 🤣🤣🤣. Thankyou to Richard and the team for their friendly service and quick turnaround. Its always fun trying on new glasses, deciding on just one pair isn't always easy though 🙃

This book was recommended to me about a year ago and this is me just getting round to reading it 🤣

Not finished it yet but I'm really enjoying it and just wanted to share a little bit that really got me thinking, in a good way 😀

Improving balance helps prevents slips trips and falls. In the Chair Yoga Level 2 class we strengthen leg muscles to improve stability. In this class the chair isn't just for sitting on, we stand beside it using it for support and we even put 1 foot on the chair for some elegant stretches. We can all get caught off guard with an uneven slab or a slippy surface but as we get older falls can have far more serious consequences. So why not try a class and have fun whilst reducing your chance of a bad injury.
The class is on Tuesdays 3pm - 4pm, Optimise Overflow, 65 Stirling Street, Alva. Book via bookwhen.com/optimise
