Our Story
Our mission is to improve human health and well being through innovative diagnostic tests and global partnerships. Omega is focused on providing specialist products, primarily in the immunoassay, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) market within three segments: Allergy, Health & Wellbeing and Global Health.
In Allergy, Omega Diagnostics is utilising its allergy R&D experience to develop a range of Specific IgE allergy assays which are distributed by our automation partner Immunodiagnostic Systems Limited (IDS).
In Health & Wellbeing, through Cambridge Nutritional Sciences (CNS), we are empowering individuals to take control of their health by offering a range of food intolerance tests: Food Detective® (point-of-care), ELISA, Food Print® (Microarray) and CNS Lab Service.
In Global Health, Omega Diagnostics partnered with the Burnet Institute to deliver a worlds first in VISITECT® CD4, a rapid, convenient and affordable test for CD4 in people living with HIV. The test can be used in decentralised locations and is aimed at improving access to essential diagnostics in low- and middle-income countries.
