🌼🎴✨ A wholesome few days ✨🎴🌼

Peter’s been busy weaving his floral magic once again the Dining Room is now blooming with fresh colours and gorgeous arrangements. It’s feeling extra special, just in time for summer conversations and cups of tea.

Meanwhile, there’s been plenty of fun around the table:
🃏 A few lively rounds of cards
🍫 Rice crispy cakes whipped up (and eaten just as fast!)
🧩 Jigsaws completed with teamwork, patience, and maybe a little bit of friendly competition.

Moments like these are what make The Yews feel like home ..full of laughter, connection, and creativity. 💛

What an incredible time we had at our Hawaiian Barbecue! The sun showed up (just about!), the food was sizzling, the leis were flowing, and the vibes were pure island joy. 🍍🌞🍔

Thank you to everyone who came, helped, danced, and laughed with us—it was a beautiful afternoon full of colour, music, and connection. From hula garlands to juicy burgers, it’s safe to say this event brought a little bit of paradise to our corner of the world.

Big birthday energy at The Yews! 🎈 Pat and David both hit 92 — and showed us how it’s done. Pat swapped her shorthand for sharp colouring skills and celebrated with family (and a very good dog). 🐶 David said “bingo” to a full house of guests and didn’t even need a microscope to spot the cake. 🧁💥 Legends, both of them!
