🌟 A joyful morning at The Leys Care Home 🌟

Today, our lovely residents took part in a gentle exercise class that was full of smiles, movement, and plenty of laughter. 💃🧘‍♂️✨

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves while staying active — the room was filled with positivity and encouragement. These sessions are such a great way to keep the body moving and the spirit lifted! ❤️

🌞 Summer Sizzle at The Leys! 🌞

The heatwave came to visit this week, so we decided to make the most of it! Out came our sun hats, the garden got a splash of decoration, and we set the scene with a little “straw in toe” charm.

Our residents and staff gathered together for a good old-fashioned barbecue – sizzling food, laughter in the air, and plenty of smiles to go around. 🍔🌭🌽

It was a wonderful day of sunshine, great company, and a feast fit for summer. A big thank you to everyone who helped make it so special – and to the sun for putting in such a long shift! ☀️💛

💖Farewell & Best Wishes to Sarah 💖

Today we say a very fond farewell to one of our wonderful cooks Sarah who has been part of The Leys Residential Care Home family for just over a year.

From the comforting smells drifting from the kitchen each morning, to the delicious meals made with love, Sarah has brought warmth and joy to residents and staff alike. Their kindness, care, and laughter will be truly missed — not just for their cooking, but for the special way they brightened every day.

Sarah is moving away to begin an exciting new chapter, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we are so grateful for everything they’ve given to our home.

🍲💐 Wishing you all the happiness, success, and new adventures ahead, Sarah — you’ll always have a place in our hearts (and a seat at our table!).

🌟 A Double Celebration at The Leys! 🌟

What a wonderful day we had marking The Leys Residential Care Home’s 2-Year Anniversary alongside young Freda’s 101st birthday! 🎉🎂

The garden party was filled with love, laughter, and the warm company of family, friends, and residents—it was truly a special experience we’ll never forget.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and an extra special shout-out to our amazing staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to make the day so memorable. Your care, creativity, and dedication made all the difference. 💐💛

Here’s to many more joyful years at The Leys—and to Freda, who continues to brighten our days at 101 years young!

Today marks 2 wonderful years since Dau Care Ltd took over the running of The Leys Residential Care Home — and what a journey it has been!

We would like to take this special moment to extend our deepest thanks to all the families, past and present, and to every resident who has made this home so special. Whether you are with us now or are remembered fondly in our hearts, your presence has shaped our home in the most meaningful way.

It has been a true privilege to care for your loved ones, to share in their stories, their laughter, and their lives. Creating a home-from-home environment where residents feel safe, loved, and cherished is at the heart of what we do — and we look forward to many more years of precious memories together. 💙
