Hello everyone. I'm having a busy first week back to work after the holidays but, plenty appointments are left for this month, if need be. So far, in the diary since Saturday, I've had patients requiring the following: rehab post stroke; relief from neck/shoulder pain and dysfunction, hip/knee pain, muscular cramps, arthritic pain & dysfunction, sinus congestion and associated hearing loss.... etc etc. To browse my web-site, view

Hello everyone. It's been a while!

Just to let anyone interested know, I only have appointments left on 30th December, until we're in to a new year!

Stay cosy everyone. Hazel

Hello everyone; it's been a while.

Life is full of busy inside and outside of work so, not enough hours in the day to keep you all updated with what's going on in clinic. Anyway, I'll give you a brief glimpse of what I've been up to in recent months... meeting interesting people & their dysfunctional body parts.

I've seen a lot of patients lately who have been googling their symptoms, putting 2 & 2 together and getting 5. It's not usually a good idea to google symptoms of any nature.... you tend to end up wasting lots of time and energy getting nowhere with self-treatment/rehab and/or stressing yourself to ribbons, thinking you have something sinister when, invariably, you don't. I get people at the end of their tether but, they either receive effective treatment from myself or, I occasionally need to refer them on to an appropriate practitioner for their specific problem. If in doubt.... ask.

Lately I've treated lots of problems I've seen so many times over the years but, I still always feel as giddy as a school girl in a sweet shop, when a plan comes together and my patient leaves in less pain and more functional (the end game obviously being pain free and having complete function). Two patients whose treatments stand out for me recently are: a gentleman who had a stroke many years ago, affecting his predominant side and, a much younger man who has for many years suffered undiagnosed dysfunction and pain in hand and wrist. Treatments are going very well, with both patients experiencing improved mobility & strength. The younger man left his second session with no pain at all.... long may it last; I look forward to the next round.... Ding! Ding!

Wishing you a happy and healthy summer.

Good evening everyone. Not a lot to report really... except many of you are keeping me going with interesting bodily dysfunctions! I just thought I'd remind you of my new location (although the address is on this page). For 8 years I was located on Amble's Queen St. Over a year ago I moved to Amble's Boys' Club. A pulling point was the good sized free car park! As many of my patients have mobility problems, finding parking on Queen Street was becoming increasingly difficult. Currently, you can usually park right outside my door and, with a hop skip and a jump (if you can manage it), you'd be in! I've just discovered today that a few kind locals have been referring people to me but, sending them to Queen Street. My phone number remains the same (07943827439) so, if in doubt... give me a shout!

Well, this month has seen a multitude of varying problems again. I've treated pain/dysfunction in many joints, including neck, shoulder, elbow, wrists, thumbs, hip, knees and ankles! It's all going on! There's also been muscular abdominal pain, eyeball pain (yep, there sure has!), and I've used thermo-auricular therapy, and EFT (emotional freedom technique) to assist with pain, as well as physical manipulation. The next few weeks are busy too so, no more available appointments until Thursday 17th Feb. Don't be stuck if you're struggling though. If I can't fit you in, I'll refer you on. Goodnight all.

Just to let you all know, I have no available appointments left this week. I have a couple on 31st December then, not back in clinic until January 6th. Stay cosy folks.

Hello everyone. Just a quick note to say, I've been on holiday this week and, on my return, my little red book is full to the brim with appointments until second week in November. So, if you're desperate, contact me via this page or, other contact details can be found on www.getinsync.co.uk and I may be able to offer a cancellation or, I can refer you to someone else. Please don't be stuck for help.

Well, it's been some time since I posted anything on here. A memory on my personal page has reminded me that it was 11 years today since I opened my clinic 'In Sync'. I've had lots of appreciative patients over the years, and I've helped with many a health/injury problem. I'm still around, although many don't realise I've moved location. You can view what sorts of things I get up to plus, location details, on www.getinsync.co.uk Best wishes to all.

Hello all. Hope you're all enjoying a lovely summer. Just a quick message to let you all know, unless I get any cancellations, I have no more available appointments until mid September.

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything so, what remotely interesting things can I tell you? Hmmm?
This week, clinic has brought some very interesting cases: a patient with one hip considerably higher than the other, and bent over to one side... not unlike a banana; general maintenance for legs/knees/hips; shoulder dysfunction; rehabilitation after a stroke; nerve impingement; back problems of various natures (one holiday maker will now be able to drive back down south, after being unable to stand up straight this morning and struggling to walk); neck/shoulder pain; finger pain and dysfunction; thumb pain and loss of grip; plantar fasciitis; achilles pain; knee pain; problems associated with hypermobility. Hmmm? Don't think I've missed anything. Nope, I don't think I have... well, except for a most splendiferous day of adventures with the grandchildren on my day off ( has to be done; gives the old hands a rest ;-) ).
