My son helped me set up for last night’s women’s circle. Afterwards he asked me “so what exactly do you guys do at a women’s circle then?”. I replied “You know how I ask you ‘how’s your mental health?’ it’s a bit like that, it’s a place for people to chat about anything, to actually be asked how they are doing, and to be heard”.
It is that. And so much more.
Every time women come together in circle I’m blown away by the connectedness between the strangers I’m sat amongst. We are all walking our own paths in different directions, but for two hours we meet, share, speak, listen, support, drink tea, and realise just how similar we all are.
It’s a beautiful thing. Next circle 3rd May 6:30pm.
