One of the joys of working from Kelsick Grammar is how effortlessly focused work blends with fresh air and a bit of Lake District magic.

A strategy day here often looks something like this:

A morning meeting in one of our bright rooms with inspiring views
Lunch together, fuelled by great local food from Force Cafe Ambleside
An afternoon walk to refresh minds, spark ideas and strengthen your team

And with some incredible routes right on our doorstep, you’re spoiled for choice:
• Stockghyll Force – a short, beautiful walk straight from the door
• Loughrigg Fell – a bigger climb with spectacular views
• Ambleside to Rydal Hall – a gentle, low-level wander (with coffee + cake stops!)
• Wansfell Pike – a proper hike for big views and bigger inspiration

If you're looking to plan a 2026 strategy meeting, get in touch! We’d love to help.

We’re so sad (Sam especially!) to say goodbye to Noemi, who has been an incredible part of the team.

As Assistant Manager, she has been welcoming, dedicated, and truly committed to looking after our customers - qualities that made her stand out from day one.

Everyone at Impact and Force will miss her, and we know her regular customers will feel the loss just as much.

Thank you, Noemi, for your hard work, warmth, and everything you’ve brought to the team.

Wishing you all the very best in your next chapter - you’ll be greatly missed ❤️

"Kelsick Grammar is modern, vibrant and right in the heart of Cumbria - it offers everything we were looking for, and more.” - Joe O’Connor, Investment Executive at FW Capital

We’re delighted to hear Joe’s kind words about his experience at Kelsick Grammar. From everyday office use to hosting their event in October, what stood out for Joe is exactly what we aim to deliver - beautiful surroundings, flexible and well-designed spaces, and a supportive team who love to help things run smoothly.

Joe also highlighted what we love to hear: the great facilities and a workspace that feels both professional and welcoming (we work hard to ensure we get the balance between friendly and professional just right).

If you’re looking for a modern base in the Lakes to work from, planning an event, or need a meeting room with character and comfort - we’d love to welcome you too.

Today we wanted to share a little throwback to April 2024 - when we welcomed KS1 children and teachers from Ambleside Church of England Primary and Nursery School

The students enjoyed an afternoon at Kelsick Grammar appreciating the spectacular views and spotting local landmarks from above and learnt the term "aerial view" first hand by using a drone to capture beautiful Ambleside from above!

From meeting rooms with a view… to meetings underground. That pretty much sums up our latest Learning in the Community day.

Each year, our team are given 3 days to dedicate to sharing skills and supporting local organisations through Impact Internationals 'Learning in the Community' initiative.

John Matthews, one of our senior consultants, has been supporting Kendal-based charity Bendrigg Trust for the past few years with leadership and management development.

Most recently, John joined Bendrigg’s senior leadership team for a monthly meeting with a difference - in a cave in the Yorkshire Dales - before welcoming them for an away day here at Kelsick Grammar.

The focus? Performance, giving and receiving feedback, strengthening connections, and making sure the whole team is pulling together behind Bendrigg’s goals. They explored how to better support staff, encourage a growth mindset, and promote innovation.

As Bendrigg Director Nick Liley shared:
“This work has already had a massive impact on the team and how we work together. We are so incredibly grateful for the support from John and Impact International.”

Bendrigg Trust is an exceptional charity. Their outdoor centre on the outskirts of Kendal enables disabled people to build confidence, resilience and independence through a host of adventurous activities. We’re proud of the relationship John has built - and we’re excited to keep supporting their brilliant work.

Even on a rainy February day, the views of the Lake District never disappoint.

Moody skies, low-lying mist, white frosted peaks and the occasional rainbow.

There’s something about that ever-changing view (and the good people around you) that gives you the boost you need when winter’s dragging on a bit.

If you’re craving a change of scene, we’ve got inspiring spaces for co-working and meetings - perfect for local businesses, freelancers and remote workers who want to get out of the home office and back into their best headspace.

✨ Superfast WiFi
☕ Unlimited brews
🪟 Big views, big thinking
🤝 Friendly, professional atmosphere

Last night we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Dr Cath Munro and Lou Turner into our Assembly Rooms at Kelsick Grammar for Surviving and Thriving through Perimenopause and Menopause - and what a turnout!

We had a full house, with brilliant women travelling in from across Cumbria for an evening of myth-busting, practical takeaways, gentle movement and really honest conversation. The energy in the room was something special.

Huge thank you to Cath and Lou for such a warm, down-to-earth session and to everyone who came along and helped make it such a supportive, uplifting night 💛
