Just a little message to all my beautiful yogis I’ve had the joy of practicing with over the years 🤍
This is my last week with you all, and I’m truly going to miss you so much…

I can’t wait to be back—hopefully very soon, in just a couple of months ✨
Until then, please keep practicing, keep showing up for yourselves, and don’t stop your flow 🧘‍♀️

You’ve all been so wonderful, and I’m so grateful for each of you 🤍
See you very soon…

Lots of love,
Nat 💫

Oh, I’ve just found a little snippet from an interview I did in Rishikesh in 2004, where I talk about my yoga journey and how I spontaneously decided to do another 300 hours with an amazing school there, in a beautiful ashram called World Peace of Yoga.

I’m really looking forward to going back to Rishikesh — or perhaps Bali, as they have schools in both locations — to complete another 500 hours. I genuinely can’t wait to return to training, to keep learning more about yoga, philosophy, and everything that comes with it.

Yoga will always be a part of my life.

Dear friends and yogis,

I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be stepping back from social media as I finish teaching end of April and go on maternity leave. I’ll check in occasionally, but my focus will be on being present during this special time.

If you’d like to stay in touch, please email me your number at natastark@me.com and I’ll add you to a WhatsApp group for updates on Zoom classes and future sessions.

Also July/August, a few of us will be setting up a running club—we’ll meet in different beautiful green locations and head out for a run together. It’s a lovely way to connect in person.

I’m not saying goodbye—I’ll see you in real life.
Lots of love,
Natalia

Throwing it back to these beautiful, blissful moments from Rishikesh ✨

And while we’re reminiscing… after such lovely demand, Nadine and I have decided to host another masterclass this March 🤍

We’re currently choosing between Gerrards Cross and Forest Hill, and it will most likely be in either the first or second week of March.

If you’d love to join us, please drop us a message and let us know which location and week would suit you best — and we’ll start organising from there.

We honestly can’t wait to gather again for another special masterclass.

Lots of love,
Nadine & Annette ✨yoga

I thought this little quote from Buddha was quite sweet and felt called to share it.

I can totally relate to this. At 16, leaving home and stepping into the fashion world — which is incredibly competitive — I struggled for many years within that industry. Then I discovered yoga, and I learned (and am still slowly learning) to surrender, surrender, surrender…

I’d say social media and society can feel very similar at times, and I think this message really puts everything into perspective and reminds us that we don’t have to keep pushing or proving ourselves. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is simply let go, trust the process, and come back to ourselves.

Some people think that doing yoga and being a yogi simply means being able to stand on your head or on your hands.

I’m really sorry to disappoint you, but standing on your head or hands does not make you a yogi!

There’s nothing personal in this message — I’m simply sharing my own experiences and knowledge from practising yoga for over 20 years with several amazing gurus around the world.

As my teachers used to say: “10% yoga is on the mat, 90% is off the mat.”

What does this mean?

On the mat, you practise pranayama, asana, and meditation.
Off the mat, you practise many other things — such as being kind towards everyone, including strangers, being compassionate towards every living being, and hopefully practising ahimsa (non-violence).

A true yogi strives to be non-judgemental towards themselves and others, to live without expectations, and to avoid greed, jealousy, or envy. A yogi wishes others well, wants to give back, and chooses kindness over gossip — and the list goes on…

Choosing a spiritual path and truly living as a yogi is not an easy route, and it’s not for everyone. But if you’ve decided to walk this path, do it with dignity and grace.
