Lesley Mary Close, Funeral Celebrant

Lesley Mary Close, Funeral Celebrant I would be honoured to help you create a meaningful, bespoke ceremony for your loved one's funeral, whether it is a cremation, burial or interment of ashes

I came to celebrancy after attending many family funerals, some of which were memorably poor. Redundancy gave me the money to invest in a really good training course and to join various professional bodies. Cremations and burials, 'natural' or otherwise, as well as ashes interments, can all benefit from a well-written, bespoke ceremony. In the ceremony you and I create together, the person who has

died will be remembered with words and music, with love, respect, dignity and compassion but, above all, in a meaningful and deeply personal manner. There will be no 'standard' elements or readings in the ceremonies I create to mourn your loved one's death and to celebrate their life. I am happy to include religious elements in the ceremonies I create and will gladly write the eulogy, giving you the chance to read it and make changes before it is delivered by me or someone else. I am happy to come to your home - or another venue of your choice - to discuss the funeral of your loved one. Please feel free to contact me.

Today I am reflecting on the nearness of spring, but there's a cold spell to get through first.
Have you noticed how often we have to go through difficult times before we get to the good times... That's life, I guess.
