We are thrilled to announce that construction has officially begun on Wendover Manor! Work commenced on Monday, 3rd February 2025, starting with the demolition of the long-neglected existing care home, making way for a modern, welcoming home that will truly embrace and support the local community. We envision a future where individuals feel safe to flourish, families find the support they need, and wellness becomes a way of life for those who choose to live and work with us.

We are so excited to share these beautiful images to give you a glimpse of the stunning home we are creating! It has been carefully planned to promote wellness, inclusion, and a fulfilling lifestyle, seamlessly blending modern amenities with a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff alike. It will be more than just a care home, becoming a hub for the local community, creating new job opportunities, delivering much-needed care provisions, and breathing new life into this part of Wendover!

📢 Exciting News! Planning Permission Granted for Wendover Manor 🎉

We are thrilled to share some great news with our friends, families, and local community… Salveo Care has officially received planning permission to build Wendover Manor!

For those who may not know, Wendover Manor is located on the corner of Aylesbury Road and Worlds End Lane, right next to Dobbies Garden Centre. The site was previously known as Chiltern Court Care Home, which has been closed since 2018, and we are excited to transform the site into something truly special.

This project will remove an eyesore that has unfortunately attracted antisocial behaviour over the past few years, and we’re committed to doing the site justice. Our plans include minimal disruption to the surrounding area, retaining trees, and preserving the natural outlook. Wendover Manor will be a state-of-the-art, purpose-built care home, with a focus on wellness, community, and creating a beautiful environment for residents to live and staff to work.

As operators of Cherry Tree House, we’re proud to be part of the local community and remain dedicated to serving Wendover. We’ll bring new jobs, provide valuable services to local families, and improve the overall appearance of our neighbourhood.

Construction is set to begin in a few weeks, and we will do our best to keep any disruption to a minimum. We are so proud to contribute to the growth of our community and can’t wait to see the positive impact Wendover Manor will have on our lovely town.

This Sunday, a group of us will be walking 5k for the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk in Milton Keynes!

We have managed to reach our goal of £300 thanks to lots of generous donations, but we would love to be able to see how much we can raise for such a worthy cause!

You may have already noticed some fresh updates, like our new logo, brand colours and our website!

Why the change?

This rebrand is more than just a new look; it’s a reflection of our evolution as a company. We’ve grown, adapted, and are continuously striving to deliver better care, with a new focus on lasting wellness for everyone who lives and works in our home. We’re so proud of this new chapter, and we are so excited to make positive changes for the residents who live with us. 🤍
