A beautiful friend of mine gave me what I can only describe as the perfect gift yesterday.
It was the gift of TIME and gentle persuasion 💖.
Like so many of you, I’ve got a busy life with 3 children, a growing business, a dog, Husband etc and the juggle sometimes gets too much ~ especially if like me your empathic hearts first response is to put others first.
She realised that I was starting to crumble under the pressure of it all and looked after Hope and Harrison for me for a few hours, booked me a massage and told me to take myself out for lunch.
I cried after the massage. It was such a release.
It was just what I needed and a stark reminder that I have to schedule in extra self care ~ we all do.
I know that I matter, it’s just sometimes not easy finding childcare and asking for help.
I’m so grateful to my friend and her big beautiful heart for enabling me to take care of myself 💖.
If you are struggling to fit in self care, I hear you, I’ve been you, but you’ll feel so much more like yourself when you do.
Make it happen, book a massage, take yourself out for lunch or whatever you need but prioritise YOU 💖.
Book one of my massages and feel your body take a sigh of relief 💖
