Bucks Osteopathy & Physio Registered osteopaths and chartered physios, we treat people of all ages from newborn to patients in Osteopathy focuses on causes, not just symptoms.

Osteopaths are primary healthcare professionals that specialise in the diagnosis, treatment, management and prevention of conditions that are due to problems with the joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. Treatment involves gentle, manual techniques - easing pain, reducing inflammation and muscle spasm and improving mobility. Often, osteopathy involves manipulation, Osteopathy does not involve the use of drugs or surgery. It is therefore suitable for both acute (recent) and chronic (long term) conditions and as primary health care professionals, are qualified to assess your general health. In addition to treating pain we look to the cause of the problem in order to prevent future episodes. The techniques we use are based on current medical research to ensure we provide the most effective care to all of our patients. I am an osteopath with 12 years experience registered with the General Osteopathic Council as well as the Institute of Osteopathy. 🦶 CPD Training Day for Podiatrists – Ultrasound & Injection Techniques

Last Saturday we hosted a fantastic CPD training day for podiatrists, led by our Consultant Sonographer, Alok Yashyp, here at Bucks Osteopathy & Physio.

The session focused on musculoskeletal ultrasound for common foot and ankle conditions, including plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, Achilles tendinopathy, heel pain, peroneal and posterior tibial tendon injuries, and ankle sprains.

Attendees enjoyed hands-on scanning practice and live demonstrations, with insights into ultrasound-guided injections such as corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid (Ostenil) treatments for heel, tendon, and joint pain.

It was a brilliant, interactive day of learning and collaboration — a big thank you to Alok for sharing his expertise, and to all the podiatrists who joined us! 👏

Hello all

We’re looking for reception/ admin help at our Amersham clinic @ Bucks Osteopathy & Physio. We have 7 treatment rooms housing ourselves and allied health professionals who rent out rooms.

It's a hybrid role that combines reception work with working on the admin side and basically mucking in with whatever is needed to help us run things and keeps the wheels rolling! Specifically you would be
-manning reception
- taking calls and making bookings
- managing diaries
- dealing with patients as they come in
- dealing with off the street enquiries
- invoicing health insurance companies
- helping reconcile payments across the three clinics
- dealing with email enquiries
- potentially helping with inputs to our accountancy software (Zero)
The most important thing is that you are caring, enjoy helping people and have a welcoming personality. The right person will be enjoy interacting with people face to face, on email and on the phone, be numerate, have a good attention to detail and be confident with technology (you will be using a practice management system - don't worry we can show you how to use this), be comfortable with excel and be comfortable navigating around and invoicing via various health insurance websites etc (again we will show you how to do this)
This is a part time role with shifts between 9am and 2.30 and 2.30 to 7.30pm. We're also looking for reception cover for Saturdays with the same shift pattern.
