Peacefully on Wednesday 3rd September at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Megan from Bonllwyn passed away.

Loving mother of Linda, devoted mother-in-law of Philip, respected stepmother of Peter and his wife Judith, adored grandmother of David and Emma and Tomos and Sara and fond great grandmother of Theo and Margo.

Funeral on Wednesday 24th September. Public service at Gellimanwydd Chapel at 2.00 pm followed by a private burial for the family only. The family extend a warm welcome for you to join them for light refreshments at the Red Lion, Llandybie from 3.00pm onwards.

It is with great sadness that we as a family announce the sudden passing of our beloved Imran. He will be fondly remembered as a loving father of Lucas, loving son of Carolyn and Khan (Chanchal), brother of Carwyn and Liam and cousin of Carrie, David, Anisah, Adil and Zarrin. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Sadly on Friday 15th August, 2025, at her home, Iris of Castle Reach, Ammanford, formerly of Park Street, Lower Brynaman.

Beloved wife of the late Danny and the late Howell, loving mother of Fiona, much loved grandmother of Kathryn and Thomas and a cherished great grandmother of Evie and Isla. Iris will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Peacefully on Thursday evening, 21st August, in the tender care of the staff at St. David’s Hospice, Llandudno and with Sian and Dafydd at his side, Alun of Dolgellau (formerly of Ammanford) sadly passed away.

Devoted son of the late Gwenan and Glyn, wonderful brother of Sian and Dafydd, brother-in-law of Gareth and Cathy and a very dear uncle and friend to many.

Funeral on Monday, 15th September.
Following a service at Aberystwyth Crematorium at 11:00am a service of thanksgiving will be held at Salem Chapel, Dolgellau at 2:00pm after which light refreshments will be provided at Dolgellau Rugby Club.

Sadly on Monday 18th August, at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Mair (Mary) of Mountain Road, Brynamman, formerly of Gwaun Cae Gurwen passed away.

Dearly loved wife of Alun, loving mother of Caryl, Gareth and
Rhiannon, adoring ‘Mamgu’ of Ieuan, Cellan, Owain, Bethan, Seren,
Ffion and Madison, and a treasured ‘hen Famgu’ of Trystan, Ifan, Cadi, Dylan and Mali.

A private service will be held for family. A celebration of her life
will be at Cwmgors Rugby Club, Gwaun Cae Gurwen on Sunday 31 August at 2pm for family and friends.

Menna wishes to sincerely thank family, friends and neighbours for their generosity and sympathy in her sad loss of her beloved husband Aelwyn.

A special thank you to all the medical teams who cared for Aelwyn, to those who attended to him at home and at ICU Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.

Menna is grateful for the comforting words and guidance from Revd John Talfryn Jones and Eirudd Mair Talfryn which brought dignity to the service.

Thank you also to Catrin and staff at Cwmni Griffiths Bwtrimawr for their compassion, care and professionalism.

To all who contributed to the donations a substantial sum of £700 was collected to ICU Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Peacefully on Tuesday, 5th August at Morriston Hospital, Keith of Heol y Gors, Cwmgors sadly passed away.

Beloved husband of 64 years to Marilyn, much loved father of Suzanne, respected father-in-law of David and loving and devoted Gramps of Elin. Sadly missed by all his family and friends.
