Since its beginnings as builders, joiners and village undertakers, the business has developed as traditional funeral directors. The business incorporates Hywel Griffiths and Sons, Keith Morgan and Sons, Evan Rees and Sons and Douglas Davies, and provides a personal bilingual service. Peacefully on Wednesday 14th January at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Gladys of Derwen Fawr, Llandybie, formerly of Cwmfelin Farm, Betws passed away.

Much loved wife of the late Frank, devoted mother of Chris, Lesley and the late Dorothy, dear mother in law of Fran, Sharon and the late Ken, loving Nan of Jeanette, Ian, Michelle, Richard and Adrian and an adored great and great great Nannie. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral on Thursday 12th February 2026. Service at Llanelli Crematorium at 3.00pm, followed by light refreshments at Penybanc Rugby Club after the service. Black attire is not necessary, and the family would like you to wear a splash of colour.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David. He died on Thursday 15th January at home surrounded by love.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Maria, his adored children Christine, Dafydd, Steffan and his daughter in law Emma, as well as his cherished grandchildren Mali, Hera, Jack and George. He is also survived by his sister Enfys and Barbara. David lived fully and loved deeply his family, his dogs, the quiet joy of skiing, shooting and fishing meant everything to him. He leaves a space that cannot be filled.
