📣 Important update on formula milk recalls.

There are further recalls on certain SMA, Aptamil, Cow & Gate and Little Steps formula products because of possible contamination. We know this can sound scary, but most formula milks aren't affected. It’s important to check any products you have at home to be safe.

What to do?
💚 Check the latest Food Standards Agency recall list and immediately stop using any affected batches
💚 If your baby becomes unwell (vomiting, diarrhoea or tummy pain), contact your GP or NHS 111
💚 It’s safe to switch to another first infant formula milk, they're all nutritionally equivalent
💚 If your baby uses a specialist formula (lactose‑free, anti‑reflux, comfort or amino‑acid based), speak to a health professional before switching

If you’re feeling worried or need feeding support, our Infant Feeding Line is open every day, 8am – Midnight 📞 0300 330 0700.

All women and birthing people should be safely supported, wherever they want to give birth. And deciding to give birth at home is a right that must be supported.

Birthrights , The Association of Radical Midwives (ARM) and AIMS are calling for action to make homebirths even safer, and we stand alongside them.

What is needed to ensure safe, supported, and respected home births:
💚 A properly resourced homebirth service with trained, experienced midwives
💚 Continuity of care and personalised care plans for everyone planning a homebirth
💚 Evidence-based info about risks in each person’s circumstances for all birth types
💚 Adequate ambulance cover so help is available immediately if needed

If you are a new parent and you are looking for a gentle supportive class for next term, why not check me out? Here is the class timetable for the Feb/March term, i have a few spaces in all my classes. I am university trained in pregnancy, postnatal and baby development and have been supporting local families for over a decade.
Babies can be 6 weeks or older to join my courses of baby massage or mum and baby yoga. We spend time building their brains and stretching their bodies as well as getting to know each other. One of my aims is to create supportive groups of parents as well as to teach you the skills of massage. I run the sessions as a 5 weeks course so that you can hone your skills over the weeks.
Pregnancy yoga you can join me anytime from 12 weeks. Many of my recent class attendees have been coming every week, whilst others drop in for the odd session - either is fine.
DM me if you have questions or you can check out the booking sites.

It can help to do a class that helps your baby to learn at an age appropriate pace.
In mum and baby yoga on a Wednesday morning in Ampthill, baby is on the mat with us so we watch them and entertain them with our stretches, singing and sensory toys. It's a specific class tailored for the postnatal body and will help you get back to feeling yourself.

Do you fancy a gentle class with your new baby starting in February?
Every Monday for 5 weeks join me to learn the strokes for your baby that will help improve digestion, reduce crying and maybe even improve sleep?
I make time at the end of the massage to allow the group to chat over a cuppa and a biscuit.
I have been teaching baby massage for over 10 years and I love spending time with new parents and their little ones, helping to create friendships and supporting you on this journey.
