On World Mental Health Day, we want to send out a message of compassion and hope. 💚

Mental health is just as important as physical health — and often more delicate.

Today, we invite you to pause and check in with yourself. Ask:
How am I really feeling?
What small step can I take right now to soothe my mind?
Who can I lean on, or share with, in a safe space?

If you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, you are not alone - there is strength in asking for help. 💛

🌕✨ The First Supermoon of the Year ✨🌕

Tonight we’re blessed with the first supermoon of the year here in the UK - the moon at her closest, shining brighter and fuller than usual. Her glow feels like a gentle reminder that cycles are always turning, that release and renewal dance together.

If you’d like to welcome her energy into your evening, here’s a little moon ritual you might enjoy:
🌕 Light a candle (white or pale blue if you have one)
🌕 Hold your favourite crystal - moonstone, selenite, or clear quartz work beautifully
🌕 Whisper an intention or a release into the night air
🌕 Breathe deeply, exhaling what no longer serves you

You may wish to diffuse a soft essential oil such as Lavender or Chamomile as you reflect, grounding yourself in her light.

This supermoon invites us to let go of heaviness, to make space for fresh beginnings, and to trust our own unfolding.

Wishing you a luminous evening and moonlit magic.

Sleep is an essential function as it allows your body and mind to recharge, without enough sleep the brain cannot function properly.

So why is it that 36% of UK adults struggle to get to sleep at least once on a weekly basis, nearly half of the UK have trouble falling asleep and approximately 14% sleep for less than 5 hours a night?

There can be a lot of factors with regards to sleep issues, and some of them out of our control (yes, I am one of those with a miniature sleep thief). There are some steps you can take to promote good sleep hygiene.

💤 Avoid caffeine, alcohol, ni****ne or a big meal too close to bedtime
💤 Regular exercise, although avoid anything too vigorous right before bed.
💤 Create a restful environment – cool, dark and quiet.
💤 Limit use of bright lights at least three hours before bed.

The Sweet Dreams Pillow Spray is part of our nightly routine in this household; it contains Lavender, Geranium Rose and Patchouli which are amazing at promoting relaxation, balancing the nervous system and soothing the mind.

Essential Oils to Support Low Mood and Emotional Wellbeing

While essential oils aren’t a replacement for professional care, they can be a comforting companion during the darker months. Their aromas can soothe, uplift, and help create a sense of balance - small but powerful reminders to pause and nurture yourself.

Here are some beautiful oils to explore:
✨ Bergamot – Often called the “sunshine oil,” Bergamot has a bright, citrusy scent that can help ease anxious thoughts and gently lift mood. Perfect for diffusing in the morning to set a positive tone for the day.
🌸 Geranium – With its soft, floral aroma, Geranium is known for restoring emotional harmony. It’s wonderful for balancing mood swings and inviting a sense of calm. Add a few drops to a bath or blend with a carrier oil for a soothing massage.
🌼 Ylang Ylang – This exotic, sweet oil is grounding and heart-opening. Ylang Ylang can help reduce feelings of stress and tension, making space for relaxation and emotional release. Lovely in a diffuser during the evening wind-down.
💜 Lavender – A true all-rounder, Lavender is celebrated for its calming, restorative properties. It can ease restlessness, support deeper sleep, and encourage a sense of peace. Keep it by your bedside or use a drop on your pillow before sleep.

✨ How do you use essential oils to support your wellbeing? Share your favourites or rituals in the comments - I’d love to hear!

Tips for safe use: Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, avoid direct contact with eyes, and choose high-quality, pure oils to ensure safety and effectiveness.

🌞 A Day with Essential Oils for SAD Support

Sometimes, it’s the little rituals that help us feel grounded and supported. Here’s a simple way to weave essential oils into your day during the darker months:
✨ Morning – Lift & Awaken
Diffuse Bergamot for a burst of citrus sunshine to start your day.
🌿 Midday – Balance & Reset
Take a mindful pause with a deep inhale of Geranium to restore balance.
🌸 Afternoon – Calm & Focus
Diffuse Ylang Ylang to ease tension and create a soothing atmosphere.
🌙 Evening – Rest & Restore
Wind down with Lavender in a bath, massage oil, or on your pillow for peaceful sleep.

💡 Consistency matters. These small rituals build a rhythm of self-care, helping you feel more supported through the seasons.

Have you ever noticed your mood dip when the days get shorter? Feeling the winter slump?

You’re not alone, and you don't have to power through it by yourself.
It is believed that approximately 3%-5% of the UK population experience SAD every year.

SAD is a type of depression that often shows up when daylight recedes (autumn and winter) but everyone’s experience is different, some feel it in summer. It can disrupt the brain’s balance of:
✨ Melatonin (sleep hormone)
✨ Serotonin (happiness chemical)
✨ Circadian rhythm (your body clock)

The good news? There are many ways to manage SAD:
✨ Lifestyle shifts: get outside, build routines, move your body
✨ Light therapy
✨ Talking it through with someone who gets it
✨ Medication if needed

Essential Oils can also help lift low mood, some favourites include:
🌿 Bergamot
🌺 Geranium
🌼 Ylang Ylang
💜 Lavender (the ultimate all-rounder!)

💬 Have you tried essential oils for mood support?

Fatigue is a feeling of constant tiredness or weakness and can be physical, mental or a combination of both. It can affect anyone, and most adults will experience fatigue at some point in their life.

There are many reasons a person can experience fatigue, and quite often making small adjustments to your lifestyle can ease symptoms. There are also a few Essential Oils which can be useful in combating the symptoms of fatigue.

Basil can be useful with nervous fatigue. It has a refreshing and purifying effect on the mind, as well as a stimulating and fortifying effect on the body.

Lavender can have a sedating effect on the nervous system and is a really good all rounder.

Patchouli has a rich earthy aroma with strong associations with the East. It can help soothe the mind, support the nervous system and promote relaxation.

Peppermint can help clear the mind and revive the spirit with its cooling and refreshing scent which can also be stimulating.

What if fear isn't the enemy; but a whisper from within?

Fear is powerful. It stops us from speaking up, taking chances, loving fully, or even just breathing deeply. But what if fear isn’t here to destroy us… what if it’s just misunderstood?

What if it was a messenger, asking to be heard, healed, and transformed?

Most of our fears aren’t about danger—they’re about perception. Old programming. Childhood patterns. Stories we didn’t even know we believed.

Together we can work with the deeper layers of the mind on a subconscious level - where fear lives.
Instead of fighting fear, we can reframe it. Understand it. Even thank it… then let it go.

Imagine no longer being triggered. No longer held back. Just free to move forward, clear, calm, and confident.

Fear isn’t a life sentence. It’s a signal. And you can rewire the response.

Ready to reprogram the story?
