Saddle fit consultation including flocking adjustments - £70 Single horse
Extra saddle same horse - £10
Extra horse same owner - £45
Group prices (4 or more) - £55 per horse
Prices include travel expense up to a 20-mile radius of Andover. Adjustment Costs:
Gullet bars - from £25
Tree Adjustment - £50
Full re-flock and refit - £150

I totally agree with this. Since improving my horses feet and working on her biomechanics her body and back is so strong. This has allowed optimal saddle fit and improved her ability to carry a rider.
It is important to ensure your horse is strong in every way before fitting a saddle.

This is so true and exactly what I am working on with my mare. I see this so many times and often thought to be caused by saddle fit and yes, saddle fit will be involved as it’s crucial it dues not cause discomfort. However if your horse is not balanced, in pain, anxious or just starting their ridden journey, it’s imperative you help them learn how to use their body before you add a rider.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to share my joy today.
My mare Alice has always struggled with confidence,balance and proprioception and recently really struggled with farriers and trimmers regarding her hind feet to the point that I’ve had to sometimes sedate her.

I met Jo Lunt last year when saddle fitting a clients horse. She works with the horse to help them re balance and learn how to use their body in a calm way.
She started to work with Alice at the end of January and taught me how to help Alice strengthen and balance herself. This has been so important as I also decided to go barefoot last summer.
Today we had the best trimming session, no sedation needed and she was calm and comfortable. Even the trimmer commented how square she stood. (She’s normally a ballerina with her back feet).
I would highly recommend working with Jo if you have any kind of worry’s with a horse or pony struggling with confidence, transitions or balance.
