In July 2019, after losing 3.5 stone with Slimming World, and maintaining my weight loss for 7 years, I decided to become a Consultant, and help others achieve their weight loss dreams. I opened my doors on 31st July 2019, and have been running a group in Charlton, Andover ever since. However, in March of this year, like the rest of the world, our lives were turned upside and we had to close the d
oors of our groups in response to the pandemic. We still wanted to help our members....just because the world had been tilted sideways, it didn’t have to mean that we had to give up on our weight loss dreams! So we rallied around and after two frantic weeks, we proudly launched our new online groups. We had no idea how they would go, if our members would like them, or if they would be a success....I mean, we didn’t even know if we COULD lose weight in a lockdown!....
It’s now June, 12 weeks later, and I am so proud to say that our groups are stronger than ever, and our members are losing weight and achieving their dreams. In our group, we’ve welcomed new members, celebrated weight losses, applauded members losing over 10% of their starting weights, and very VERY proudly celebrated members achieving their target weights, despite the challenges that the last few weeks have thrown at them. Have we had to adapt and make changes? Of course we have, same as many of you....but one thing remains unchanged....we care, and are here for you - whatever comes our way. I make that promise to all of my members - my members are at the heart of everything I do. In our group, you’ll get the friendship, guidance and support you need to help you achieve your dreams, and as your Consultant, I’ll be there for you every step of the way.
