Hi, I’m Abbie the owner of B Holistic Therapies. I have a real passion for complementary therapies and its something I’d like to share with you!
I first started having complementary therapies in my teens due to being unwell and couldn’t believe the difference in how I felt almost immediately. I felt like it was something I wanted to let people know about and help people feel just as great as I did!
I trained as a Reiki practitioner in 2005 and began treating mainly animals before moving on to treating people. I have treated many people with great results.
I, myself, then went for a reflexology treatment, a gift from a family member. I was amazed at how wonderfully relaxing this treatment was and how the reflexologist picked up on ailments that i’d never told her about. Right from that very first treatment I knew this is what I wanted to do! It’s a treatment like no other!
I started training for over a year and treated many pairs of feet and hands as case studies (thank you to all my volunteers). Also undertaking lots of coursework and then exams in anatomy and physiology as well as practical exams. I achieved a VTCT level 3 qualification in Reflexology. I became a full member of the Association of Reflexologist and also help run an Association of Reflexologist area group to help support local reflexologists and student reflexologists. I also continue to train to progress my skills and services attending different courses throughout the year and making sure I complete my CPD points. I’m fully insured.
Since training I have had the pleasure of treating many clients and I thoroughly enjoy what I do. Its wonderful to see clients floating out of the room, relaxed and happy! I am passionate about supporting my clients well being physically and emotionally and am committed to helping each person I meet.
