🌟 Celebrating Our New Team Leader Twinkle! 🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that Twinkle has stepped into the role of Team Leader at Big Hearts Recruitment! 💙

Twinkle has been a dedicated carer with Big Hearts for the past three years, and her passion for caring truly shines through everything she does. In her own words:

“I have been a dedicated carer for the past three years with Big Hearts Recruitment and I truly love and enjoy every part of my role. Caring for others, especially the elderly, is something that comes from my heart. I’m passionate about encouraging those I support to stay happy, positive, and independent. Being a carer is more than just a job for me it’s a part of who I am. Outside of work, cooking is my go-to hobby. Whenever I feel stressed, I find peace in the kitchen.”

Twinkle’s compassion, leadership, and heartfelt dedication inspire everyone around her. We’re so proud to see her grow into this new role one that truly reflects her caring nature and commitment to making a difference.

As healthcare professionals, we stand on the front lines of care, education, and advocacy for individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).

🧬 SCD is a chronic, inherited blood disorder that disproportionately affects people of African, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and South Asian descent.
💉 Many patients still face delayed diagnoses, limited access to care, and stigma — especially in underserved communities.

This month, let’s recommit to:
✅ Advancing culturally competent care
✅ Advocating for early screening and equitable access
✅ Supporting research and emerging therapies
✅ Listening to and uplifting patient voices
