Last working day of 2023!!

A huge thank you to everyone who has trusted me to work with their anxiety and mental health this year. I wish you all a restful break and look forward to seeing some of you in the new year.

2023 is going to be a year to remember. We overcame so many challenges, the biggest being our clinic move. We cannot thank enough the people who helped us with the build of the new clinic and we are so proud of our new home.

Thank you to all of the clients who visited our new space and complimented us on what we have created, it made it all worth it in the end.

Studies have shown that connecting to nature has a range of mental health benefits.

This month has been a huge month for shrooms of all types 🍄

One of the ways you can improve your connection to nature is to notice it, activities like mushroom hunting help you to notice things that you might normally just walk past.

🧘‍♀️ Spaces available on my Wednesday evening mindfulness and meditation class 🧘‍♀️

I have a couple of spaces available on my mindfulness and meditation group class on Wednesday at 5:30pm at our clinic on Weyhill Road.

Classes are 45mins long, £15 and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those more practiced at mindfulness and meditation.

The classes are guided by Siobhan who has been working with people through hypnosis, meditation and mindfulness practices since 2011. Each class has a different theme but always include:

🧘‍♀️ Short Mindfulness exercises that you can easily continue at home

🧘‍♀️ Longer guided meditation focused on a particular theme such as self compassion, anxiety reduction or general relaxation

🧘‍♀️ Simple gratitude practice that you can do even if you have had an awful day

The benefits of meditation and mindfulness have been well documented and these classes are designed to be simple and easy to follow, even if you get distracted easily and a welcome break from the daily stresses and anxieties of our busy lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who booked onto my first meditation and mindfulness classes last week!

We started with a simple mindful breathing exercise followed by a guided meditation working on self compassion towards our bodies. Finally we finished with one of my favourite exercises, ending with three positive things from the day so far.

Each week we will be focussing on different meditations and mindfulness exercises to give you the opportunity to find out more and use mindfulness and meditation in whatever way suits you.

Now that I have a lovely room that I can fit a small group of people in, I am very excited to announce my new meditation and mindfulness classes are available to book now.

Feeling real now… our new sign is in place!!

While we were busy in clinic today our new sign was installed on our new clinic!!

It was so exciting to see it this evening 😊

As a quick reminder our Basepoint location will be closed from the 11th of June and our 161b Weyhill Road location will be opening on the 20th of June.

We have been busy painting the interior and the flooring in the main areas has gone down so it’s starting to look very smart inside and we cannot wait to show you all our new space.
