Sarah, from Bluebird Care Alton, Petersfield & Havant, who was named Rising Star for her incredible impact and progress since joining! 👏

Our very own Amie, who received the Outstanding Contribution award for her immense dedication to Bluebird Care and our team! 👏

Eunice, from Bluebird Care High Wycombe & Slough, who won Team Player of the Year, which is voted for by our staff and demonstrates the amazing impact she’s had on her colleagues! 👏

And to Jade, our Head of Care, who won the Directors’ Choice award for the pivotal role she’s played in enhancing quality standards across our range of care services! 👏

Today we’re celebrating the 5th anniversary of our brilliant Careers Advisor, Louise! 🌟

Louise joined Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant, before progressing along our career pathway into her current role. Since then, Louise has been a guiding light for so many of our team members, helping them grow and thrive.

We were delighted to attend the Andover Over 55 Forum "Let’s Talk for Mental Health" event, a valuable afternoon of presentations from Andover Mind discussions with Samaritans Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire, Liz Murray from Valley Leisure Andover College who shared insights focused on mental health and well-being in our community. 🤝

We also had the opportunity to catch up with the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr. Gordon Bailey, and Mayoress Karen Hamilton whose genuine support for community-led initiatives like this makes a real difference.

It was great to be alongside so many dedicated organisations, working together to raise awareness and support mental health in the community. 💙

A double celebration for us today!

Firstly, huge congratulations to Amie who has been promoted to Care Manager! Amie has been with Bluebird Care for 8 years, progressing from Care Assistant to Lead Care Co-ordinator, and will now lead our team as manager! We look forward to seeing her continued development! 👏

And our second congratulations go to Amy B, Care Manager of our Petersfield office, who has just achieved her CQC registration! 👏

Thank you to Naomi from Doda Yoga who put on a great taster session for our team today! 💙

Yoga, even when seated, has great benefits as it helps improve flexibility, balance, and strength, which can reduce falls risk. It also supports mental wellbeing by promoting relaxation and reducing stress. 🧘‍♀️

For those who are less mobile, the gentle movements of seated exercise are safe and accessible, so it was great for our team to get this insight! 🙌

We had a brilliant afternoon at the Abbotts Ann Village Fete today! 🎪

It was a pleasure to partner with the village on this event, showcase our home care services, and help raise vital funds for community causes. It was also lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves (and the weather)! 💙☀️

Congratulations to Jo who has won our team member of the month award! 👏

Jo goes above and beyond in her role as care assistant, with a recent example being when she regularly visited one of our customers in hospital. She read to him from the bible, which was really important to him, and is a shining example of how she goes the extra mile to provide outstanding care. 💙
