A wonderful morning of creativity was enjoyed by our residents with a lovely visit from Chapel Arts Studios🎨✨

Everyone had the chance to get involved, explore their artistic side, and enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere. It was fantastic to see so many smiles and such beautiful creations being made, which have been displayed in our downstairs lounge for all to enjoy .

A big thank you to Chapel Arts for bringing such a fun and inspiring session to our home – we’re already looking forward to the next one! 😊

Today we launched our Men’s Club here at The Arbory! 👏

It’s a space just for the men, led by our brilliant maintenance man, Alan. A chance to get together, have a chat, share a laugh, and enjoy some time doing… well… men’s club things!

Happy World Book Day! 📚✨

Today we explored the history of books, listened to some wonderful children’s classics on YouTube, and finished the day with a very special treat. 🍰

Our amazing chef created a beautiful cake inspired by The Railway Children 🚂📖 — a perfect way to bring a classic story to life and celebrate the joy of reading together.

The campaign focuses on contributing time, resources and knowledge to accelerate opportunities for women across economic, leadership, and health sectors.

Today we took on a quiz all about 1977 📚😅

Safe to say… it was hard, but we gave it our best! From questions about Government to music and moments from the year, it definitely tested the brain cells 🤯

We then followed it up with guess the animal sound 🐄🐶🐴 — which was much more up our street and a lot more fun!

A great mix of challenge, laughs, and teamwork 👏😊

Intergenerational sessions are run monthly at The Arbory, where local childminder groups from the Andover community come in to spend meaningful time with our residents.

These sessions create wonderful opportunities for connection, bringing different generations together to share stories, laughter, creativity, and companionship. They are always a highlight for both the children and our residents, helping to build strong community links and lasting memories.
