How’s your Friday looking?

We have the lovely Lucy here at 9.30am to ease you in to the end of the week with her Yin yoga class.

This is an opportunity to slow down, to be still and dive inwards for a while. In the busy-ness and noise of life it is a chance for some quiet. The poses are passively held between 1-5 minutes and props are used so you can relax into them.

Yin Yoga targets the deeper tissues of the body that hold tension and the joints. This style of Yin has come from Taoist Yoga so also targets the meridian lines of Chinese Medicine.

Back to the steady foundations of the most important relationship you will ever have - the relationship with yourself ✨

The sun is shining again and it’s a beautiful autumnal day here up at Let’s Retreat.

We have the wonderful Lucy holding space for you at 11am today with her Hatha yoga class.

In this traditional yoga class, you will be guided through a set of physical postures and breathing techniques. Hatha is the union of both the sun ‘Ha’ and ‘tha’ the moon which is about balancing the mind and body. It is a class accessible to both beginners and experienced. Gentle in nature but can still be physically and mentally challenging. This class will leave your body feeling stretched and energised and your mind calm but focused.

This class is suitable for all levels and as always, all equipment is provided for you 🫶🏼

How are you spending your Wednesday?

It’s your typical autumnal wet day, but our big yurt will be warm and cozy waiting to hold space for you.

We have Dani welcoming you at 11am for Pilates. Here at Let’s Retreat our Pilates classes will be focused on the 6 main principles: concentration, control, centring, flow, precision and breathing.

The benefits of regular practice improves flexibility, increases muscle strength, particularly of your abdominals, lower back hips and buttocks (core muscles).

Or perhaps you prefer an evening class, if so, we have Rhi in at 7.30pm for her flow yoga, which is a style of vinyasa flow, linking movement with the breath. There’s often a sense of strength and stability balanced with gentle movement.

We flow through a practice following a theme such as the chakras or taking inspiration from the yoga sutras weaving in yoga philosophy.

This dynamic practice is suitable for beginners through to advanced yogis - modifications and suggestions to level up your practice are always offered.

Both classes are suitable for all. So why not escape the rain and give some nurturing time for yourself 🫶🏼

This small group training session is designed to build strength, balance and connection through mindful movement.

Blending bodyweight exercises with controlled flows and breath-led techniques, it helps you move with greater awareness and precision. It’s not about rushing or pushing through reps, but about training with intention, improving coordination, stability and control while developing a deeper understanding of how your body moves and responds.

Have you experienced our cozy smaller yurt?

In here, we hold treatments where you will be held, nourished and leave like you’re floating away ✨

Rachel is in here every Tuesdays and Thursdays providing Thai yoga massages. This unique, deeply relaxing massage beautifully complements all our classes. It uses a combination of gentle stretching and acupressure and promotes the release of stored tension and blocked energy within the body. Being on the massage mat in the yurt allows the time and space needed to restore and rest.

We also have our lovely Luana on Wednesday’s and Thursdays. Luana is a healing facilitator who is committed to guiding her clients along the rewarding journey of self-transformation and wellbeing. She specialises in combining a variety of bodywork treatments to relieve stress, improve circulation and support the body’s natural healing processes.
