Ruby has been teaching at Lanes for 8 years and brings energy, warmth, and a love of movement to every class. She teaches Les Mills Body Balance and Pilates at Lanes.

Her classes are a fun, full-body workout that boost fitness, coordination, and confidence while improving mood and reducing stress. With great music and a welcoming atmosphere, it never feels like exercise, just movement you can enjoy at your own pace.

Outside the studio, Ruby loves travelling, cooking, music, and staying active so she can keep up with her grandchildren.

Our Story

Fed up with the traditional hard body fitness image we decided to make a difference to the health and well-being of adults like ourselves, who perhaps want more than just pumping iron or treadmill pounding in a soulless gym. How? By creating a club that specialises in meaningful exercise based on movement and function. Or to put it another way, we’re a club that prioritises your well-being – and works with you to create an individual exercise programme to improve your fitness; co-ordination; strength and flexibility.
