Have we loaned you a blood pressure machine that you have not returned? We currently have none to give to patients who need to monitor their blood pressure at home as they are not being returned. If you still have one that you got from the surgery, *please* return it to us ASAP. Thank you.

IT UPDATE
Our computer systems are back up and running! Thank you for your patience during the brief period of interruption.

Our computer systems have just crashed and we are unable to get connection again. This means we have no access to our diaries, your records and results. We are trying our hardest to get this rectified as soon as possible. Please only call us if it is an emergency until we can get access again. If you are expecting a telephone call this morning, we apologise that this will not happen at the expected time but you will be contacted as soon as we are able to. We will provide further updates as soon as we can. Please be patient with our staff who are trying their hardest to help you in a difficult situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to high levels of staff sickness, we are having to rearrange some non-urgent appointments. Due to very high demand there is a longer than usual wait for routine and non-urgent appointments. All our staff are working very hard to make sure that those people that need to be seen are seen as soon as possible.

We understand that rearranged appointments are frustrating and disruptive but PLEASE show respect and courtesy to our teams. They are doing what they can to help you with limited options at the moment.

Our BSL interpreter provider for video links is changing. Download the new app which can be used across all NHS platforms. Video link is ideal for emergency appointments and when an in-person interpreter is unavailable.

Several members of our team are currently unwell, and as a result some appointments will need to be rescheduled.

Our staff are working hard to minimise the disruption and ensure urgent medical needs are prioritised. If your appointment is affected our Reception Team will contact you directly with alternative dates and times.
