It occurred to me I have not posted in a long time.
But wanted to share that although, I've been absent I haven't been unproductive.

You see I found my people, turns out they were around all along.
Im now suited, booted 15th century style.
Loving life and still doing all the things I love.

There are plans a foot to rebuild my counselling business up again.
Watch this space.

I cannot express this enough....
Yet I find myself being pulled back to the old days of people pleasing.

I do soon realise and re adjust, as I'm confident I am enough.

But this kind of pattern can become so exhausting and equally destructive, to you and your relationships.

People pleasing is a trauma response to childhood abuse, that sense of not feeling good enough can be overwhelming, but it does pass and you will still survive.

How things change?!...... A year ago I was lost... Emotionally drained and gaslighted. I was broken inside and felt beyond repair. I had allowed someone to control and manipulate me beyond recognition of myself.
That's all past now. My healing is still a journey. However, on this journey I learned many things......
Who I am and who I need to be. As well as who I want to be.

Letting go and realising how I'd allowed someone to have so much power over me has changed my mindset and my thinking forever.

Now back to a year later...... I'm happy... Content.... safe. I'm loved by my friends and I'm happy with who I am.
My journey took a turn... And this was only for the better much recently... Although odd in its manifestation.
I've found someone, with the most beautiful heart.... And a soul that shines beyond even the brightest of stars.

Never give up.... Because when you feel so broken inside.... It doesn't mean you cannot mend.
After all crayons break... And are still able to colour.

Im here in another pod in Whitby.... Loving life and giving everything my best shot.
