When we allow ourselves to switch off from the noise of daily life and truly tune into our bodies, something powerful happens. We move with more awareness, more confidence, and more strength - both physically and mentally 💪

We’re incredibly proud of our client Julie, who completed the London Marathon just over a week ago with an epic finish time of 03:47 - and making this her third marathon 🤩.

Julie incorporated Reformer Pilates consistently into her training, helping to support her strength, control and running efficiency throughout her preparation 💪.

Importantly, she also returned to Reformer shortly after the marathon as part of her recovery, and was back out running a 5K the following weekend - a great example of a well-managed return to activity.

Reformer Pilates can play a valuable role for runners, both in preparing for an event and supporting recovery afterwards.

Redshaw Pilates sessions are all about building up progress and challenging movement more over time.

Variations of the same exercise can really challenge our bodies in terms of strength, control and balance and it's surprising how quickly we can get fatigued. This is where focusing on your practice comes in...form, control, alignment and breath.

We never encourage you to do exercises that you are not comfortable doing!

There is always a reason behind chosen exercises with careful behind-the-scenes planning going on to keep you feeling comfortable and confident in your movement.
