We’ve been really busy lately, so our social media updates have slowed down a bit. While we don’t have anyone posting regularly right now, we’re always happy to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting for a new staff member to join our team. Permanent, 36hr contract.
Must have experience of 1yr minimum of working in a care home environment and must be flexible for days and nights.

Enhancing Comfort and Calm with Fidget Sleeves

We're delighted to see our residents benefiting from their fidget sleeves, also known as 'fiddle muffs' or 'twiddle sleeves'. These wonderful sensory tools are designed to support with dementia. The various tactile items attached to the sleeves offer a soothing experience, helping to reduce stress and promote a sense of calm. It’s heart warming to witness the positive impact these simple yet effective aids have on our residents. 💜

Hello, I thank you all for your previous donations. So far we have put them to good use providing:
- A hairdressing sink to ensure our ladies receive the salon experience when the hairdresser comes
-Personal Folders to create 'My Life Story' so the can reflect on their life and enjoy their memories with visual tools
- Halloween party aids to give that great party experience
- Aids to go out for daytrips when the weather is suitable
- Crafts and paints for our fun activities in Oriel
- Items for pamper days, such as creams for massages (hand and face), beauty headbands for that salon experience, nail polishes and removal kits - because lets face it, we all love a pamper

We are now asking if any of you would be so generous to donate a small token so we can continue to do this and help us get back out for our days out and make their experiences as great as possible.

Yesterday we celebrated the day of love with our residents, unfortunately we were too excited on our Valentines meal we forgot to take pictures. However we did manage a few after.
