September - what a busy week! Plus comfort crafts this weekend - do join us ✨. Time to reflect on loss and help others by making crafts.

This week so far!
💚Fresh Little Minds Teacher Training twice
💚Su***de Prevention Training twice
💚Counselling sessions online and in person for 10 people
💚Family Kineseaology Course
💚Meetings with funders and donors

And on 💚Saturday💚 we have a craft session planned (felt card making). This is open for anyone who is bereaved or for anyone wanting to help us make crafts for our bereavment boxes which go to children and young people all over the country. 🧶👩‍🎨🧵✨

Please come along on Saturday morning 10.30-12pm we would love to see you. No matter the story you are welcome with us. Any & all ages welcome, children to be accompanied by an adult. 🙏. dm To let us know you are coming and we will add your name to the list. Max 15 people. (Nice and small and friendly).

After 46 years of dedicated service Parenting Focus has sadly announced the closure of its services.

This is a poignant reminder of how much our communities rely on local charities. For decades, Parenting Focus has stood alongside parents and families, offering support, encouragement, and guidance through life’s most challenging moments. Their impact has been far-reaching and deeply felt.

At Fresh Minds Education, we want to honour and thank Parenting Focus for their incredible contribution. The legacy they leave behind will continue to inspire, reminding us all of the difference a committed charity can make in the lives of children, parents, and communities.

As supporters, we ask you to keep standing by your local charities. Every gesture of generosity, kindness, and encouragement helps ensure that vital services remain available to those who need them most.

While today is a sad day, it is also a moment of gratitude. Parenting Focus gave almost half a century of care and commitment, and that is something truly worth celebrating.

Glimmer Boxes are gentle support resources for children and young people navigating grief. 💛

Each box is carefully prepared and filled with creative tools, sensory items, and coping prompts, all personalised with love to bring comfort, connection, and hope. 🌿✨

They also support parents, teachers, and caring adults as they help children adapt through grieving.

📦 Every family that applies will receive one for their child.
Because even in loss, glimmers of light can shine through. ✨

The Crematorium is opening its doors for a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn more about the care and respect that guides every service.

What a day it is for our most wonderful Charity Senior Ambassador for Su***de Prevention - the most genuinely wonderful human being Michelle Major from The Sunshine Project. Michelle works so hard in the background for our charity and leads our life saving work out with calmness, kindness and compassion. When she's is not working for us she is running her own company and has been writing a book!

This is a very special book, I've been lucky enough to have read it and would have no hesitation in recommending it to everyone. It's really easy to read and an essential education on how to reset our nervous systems. Help us celebrate Michelle's achievement and send her alot of love and support for the launch of her book.

We are so grateful for this woman.
