Muscle knots aren’t “normal.”
That tight shoulder.
That stiff neck.
That spot that makes you wince when pressed.
That’s a trigger point — and it won’t fix itself.
Stop stretching around the problem.
Let’s release it properly and get you moving pain-free again. 💪

What Is Fascia – And Why Should You Care?
When people book in for sports massage, they usually think about muscles.
But one of the most important tissues we work with is fascia.
Fascia is the thin connective tissue that wraps around your muscles, organs and joints. Think of it like a web or body-wide cling film holding everything together.
When it’s healthy → you move freely.
When it’s tight or restricted → you feel stiff, sore, or “pulled” in places that don’t seem to make sense.
💥 Tight hamstrings?
💥 Ongoing shoulder tension?
💥 That “always there” lower back ache?
It’s often not just the muscle — it’s fascial restriction.
Sports massage helps by:
✔️ Improving tissue glide
✔️ Increasing blood flow
✔️ Reducing adhesions
✔️ Restoring movement
✔️ Helping you recover faster
Fascia responds to consistent, targeted pressure and movement — which is why regular treatment can make such a difference in how you feel and perform.
Whether you train hard, sit at a desk all day, or just want to move better — your fascia matters.

🎯 Trigger Point Therapy – Target the REAL Source of Pain 🎯
That deep ache in your shoulder…
The knot that never seems to go away…
Pain that keeps coming back no matter how much you stretch…
Those are often trigger points — tight, irritated spots in muscle that refer pain elsewhere.
Trigger point therapy helps to: 🔹 Release stubborn knots
🔹 Reduce referred pain (neck, shoulders, hips, lower back)
🔹 Restore movement & muscle function
🔹 Improve sleep and recovery
This is focused, results-driven work — not a relaxation massage.
💷 Pricing:
• £40 – 50 minutes
• £25 – 30 minutes

Making Time ⌚ for fitness

How many times have you told yourself this year, month, week or even this day - "I don't have time to workout" ? Don't worry you're in the majority, we all come home from our 9-5 and a workout is the last thing on our mind.

Here are a few things to consider to add just a bit of fitness to your daily routine.

Take the stairs - if you work in a building take the stairs. You get more numbers onto your daily step count and it's great for your calves.

Make a workout plan - have set days to focus on certain aspects of your fitness, whether that's building muscle, or losing fat, plan this out and put it in your diary.

Batch cook - don't let having to cook your meals from scratch throw you off your routine. Cook in bulk and throw into a few containers to last throughout the week.

Micro workouts - these are short 10 minute workouts done throughout the day at high intensity. If that's too daunting, next time you're watching tv and the advert comes on, just knock out a few situps or press ups before your show comes back on.

Lastly, change your mindset. Make fitness a priority but start small and go from there. Nothing derails a fitness plan like taking on too much at once.

Sports massage has numerous benefits, both physical and psychological –

Helping both professional athletes and regular gym goers , stay in peak condition as well as assisting in the rehabilitation of injuries , let's face it nothing slows you down or stops your progress all together like an unexpected injury.

So SMT reduceS the risk of injury as well as improving recovery following training, assisting in lymphatic drainage, helping toxins such as lactic acid (which builds up after training and is associated with cramps) to leave the body quicker, which means you get back to the gym quicker and smash your next workout.
It also aids in pain reduction, improved blood flow, increased tissue permeability as well as improving flexibility, providing an increased range of motion and boosting performance. Sports massage is also believed to stimulate relaxation and release endorphins producing the feel-good factor. If any of these benefits appeal to you, get in contact today!
