Making Time ⌚ for fitness
How many times have you told yourself this year, month, week or even this day - "I don't have time to workout" ? Don't worry you're in the majority, we all come home from our 9-5 and a workout is the last thing on our mind.
Here are a few things to consider to add just a bit of fitness to your daily routine.
Take the stairs - if you work in a building take the stairs. You get more numbers onto your daily step count and it's great for your calves.
Make a workout plan - have set days to focus on certain aspects of your fitness, whether that's building muscle, or losing fat, plan this out and put it in your diary.
Batch cook - don't let having to cook your meals from scratch throw you off your routine. Cook in bulk and throw into a few containers to last throughout the week.
Micro workouts - these are short 10 minute workouts done throughout the day at high intensity. If that's too daunting, next time you're watching tv and the advert comes on, just knock out a few situps or press ups before your show comes back on.
Lastly, change your mindset. Make fitness a priority but start small and go from there. Nothing derails a fitness plan like taking on too much at once.
